Gesunde Quinoa-Biskuitrolle ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ Die liebe @sabine.h verzaubert uns heute wieder mal mit ihren herrlichen Backkünsten. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ˜‹ Der Beste Beweis: auch wer sich dauerhaft gesund ernährt, kann naschen! ๐Ÿ˜‰โ˜ Für die gesunde Biskuitrolle brauchst Du: โ–ช 15 g Quinoa/Amaranth gepufft โ–ช 15 g Flohsamenschalen โ–ช 20 g RoC-Sports Bio Vanilleprotein โ–ช 10 g Mandelmehl (oder auch Dinkelmehl) โ–ช 1 ganzes Ei + 1 Eiweiss โ–ช 90 g Naturjoghurt โ–ช 1 TL Backpulver โ–ช Etwas Süße Und so geht’s: alle Zutaten zu einem Teig vermengen (mit einem Esslöffel), dann rechteckig auf ein Backpapier streichen und für etwa 12-15 Min. bei 180°C backen. Danach umgedreht auf ein Küchentuch stürzen, mit kalten Wasser beträufeln (damit löst sich das Papier leichter) und abziehen. Trying another new protein powder flavor. This one is good, but doesn't mix as easily even using a shaker bottle. Mocha mint is still my favorite. I think after this one I will explore some plant-based powders, since I am trying to reduce my dairy intake ๐Ÿ™‚

The question is, should you use them?๐Ÿค” 1) It’s important to know supplements do not have to be tested by the FDA...so it’s super important to make sure they are free of banned-substances. A positive drug test is a no go with the NCAA.  2) Protein powder is intended to complement your diet, NOT replace the protein you eat through food (which are loaded with nutrients!) 3) Your body can only use about 20-30g of protein at a time.  If the supplement contains more than that, you really won’t see any benefits.  Supplements are easy and convenient. PUMPKIN PROTEIN BALLS! ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ ***Makes about 28-32 mini balls. EXCELLENT after school snacks or on the gogogo!!! INGREDIENTS: 3/4 cup oats  1/2 cup oat flour (or make your own by blending oats in magic bullet or food processor) 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt 1-2 scoops of undenatured vanilla protein powder OR if you have Isagenix Pumpkin Spice.....go for it!  1/4 c. honey 1/3 cup canned pumpkin 1 to 2 T. of water if needed 1 Tbsp Coconut oil  1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract *Optional: dark or milk chocolate morsels  INSTRUCTIONS: Use two separate bowls for dry and wet ingredients. Make sure you stir the dry ingredients in one bowl then mix well. In the other bowl, be sure to mix all wet ingredients well. Add wet ingredients to the dry and mix well. You will need to refrigerate about 5-10 minutes before forming in to mini balls. Once the mixture is cold, take out and hand roll into balls. Place back in refrigerator until ready to serve. These make fabulous frozen treats as well!
