⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⚠️ Turned out to be a freakin awesome day! Bedankt! 🙏🏻🔥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #powerlifting#squats#squat#girlswholift#liftheavy#bench#benchpress#girlswhopowerlift#deadlift#girlswholift#powerlifter#fitchick#motivation#gwpl#liftheavy#womenwholift#gains#glutes#fitgirl#training#fitness#booty#fitfamnl#powerliftmotivation#fitdutchies#competition#powerliftingmotivation#sapcup#bodybuilding#girlswhosquat
Strength is something that can’t be seen immediately from the outside but lays within. I think there’s a beauty in this and that’s what drew me to powerlifting. No one can know about your strength or see it like they can see big muscles .. it’s a secret that you share with the weights and no one else. Strength is something that lays within you. And once you have cultivated it over years, it begins to become something that you can be proud of, a relationship that you grow, and a journey that isn’t immediately visible to the naked eye, that you embark on with the weights.❤️
“When I grow up I want to be like Alexander the Great. I want to be a president and have a strong army. I also want to be just brave. I just wonder what will happen. It might be good.” I wrote this when I was 6 years old. Pretty crazy. Think I’m doing sort of something like that ... I guess .. lol🙃🙂
The once hungry underdog gets lazy and complacent with success. This is why it’s important to keep going back to the drawing board and keep reinventing yourself. What got you here won’t get you there. And you have to become the underdog again, become hungry again, to even stand a chance of succeeding again and reaching new heights and horizons one day.🌠🦁👌
The journey of lifting and strength and fitness is about finding yourself. A lot of that time that means breaking from the common path. But you still do it if that’s the way for you to go and what your heart tells you. 💪👊
Zyzz - someone who I really looked up to when I was 18 and new to the gym .. because his body type was similar to me and he was once really skinny .. but more because he was a rebel who played by his own rules ... In a world where everyone does the same stuff, why not play by your own rules? 😈😈
This is one of my favorite quotes; I think it really applies to powerlifting and applies to life in general .. and whatever field you are in. Whatever you are doing gets comfortable after a while and it’s then that you have to change and do something you don’t want to, or are afraid of, or something that feels uncomfortable but that forces you to grow. I don’t want to be the strongest, or the smartest; I want to be one who at each key moment adapts to change ... and constantly works to become a better version of myself. I think that’s a worthy and meaningful goal to have.
Getting proper nutrition and the right micronutrients in is so vastly underrated. People could heal up a lot better and perform in the gym a ton better just by having more micronutrients and more of the right foods in their diet. ... are you including these foods in your diet?
