EASY HIGH PROTEIN ALFREDO SAUCE 🤩 . Soft/silken tofu Nutritional yeast White miso paste Lemon juice Salt, Pepper, pinch of nutmeg . Blend everything together and depending on the tofu, add a little bit of plant milk. Softer tofu ➡️ less milk you need . Share with your friends and family! . . . . 😍 Buffalo Cauliflower Wings 📷 by @alexafuelednaturally 🚨🚨Recipe: 1 head of cauliflower 1 1/2 Cup unsweetened almond milk 1 Cup brown rice flour 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp of paprika 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/4 tsp ground pepper 1 Cup vegan buffalo sauce INSTRUCTIONS 1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. 2.Next, prepare batter. Mix dry ingredients together, and then add almond milk. Stir with a whisk or fork until well combined. You want the batter thick but pourable so it can stick to the cauliflower… if it is too runny, it won’t stick. 3.Once the oven is preheated, add cauliflower one at a time to the batter to coat. Shake off excess and place on baking sheet. Easiest done with a fork! Give each piece 1 inch of room. 0.Bake for 15 minutes then remove from oven. Carefully dip each cauliflower into buffalo sauce then place back onto baking sheet. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes! The second round of baking will make them extra crispy! Serve with vegan ranch or a creamy sauce
I’ve been wanting to try Veggie Grill 🍅 🥬 🌿 , but the closest restaurant to me is downtown Chicago. I don’t go downtown often, but my son’s last day of school was today (senior fever) 😁so he and a friend went to Veggie Grill for lunch. I ordered the Quinoa Power Bowl with a side of the chickenless wings. Got my food 3 hours later. 🤨 They ate and did some shopping afterwards of course. 😬 Was it worth the wait? 🤔 Nah. The ingredients of the bowl were super, but the citrus mint dressing was sad! I had to whip out my #briannas Lemon Tarragon to help the flavors pop. And who puts over ripened avocado on a dish?!!! SMH. 😔Those wings.....?!!! Don’t get me started. I’m going to have to do a #nativefoods run this weekend to make up for this mediocre meal!! I give Veggie Grill 🥕 🥕 carrots out of my scale of one to five and that’s based on the variety of superfoods in the bowl.

let’s talk breastfeeding... as a first time mama, it was so nerve racking wondering if i’ll be good at breastfeeding, would I do it right? would I produce enough? I joined many mama groups on facebook for breastfeeding and new moms in general. I’ve learned a lot and i’m steadily still learning. My midwife has clients that are unable to produce, have trouble keeping up and I was personally blessed to have an awesome supply of vegan breast milk to help other mamas and even have a great stash in my moms deep freezer for little man. women helping & empowering other women is what it’s about. I *should* be on the wonderful Orkney islands. Instead, because of flight delays, I only made it as far as Aberdeen. Oh well, it has given me the chance to try premier inn's vegan options. Curry a bit meh, chocolate and salted caramel tart has delivered a wonderful sweet and chocolatey bliss.
Managed to get hold of the fish less tuna at Morrison’s today. Tried it tonight in a jacket potato with sweet corn and mayo? My review: Did it taste like tuna? Nope. Did it even taste fishy? Nope. Was it nice? Yep it really was.
