Needed a big cozy bowl of oats to power my study this morning so I decided on cinnamon maple pan friend apple, coconut yoghurt and peanut butter on top of some turmeric zoats 🤤 Enjoy x
Savoury Miso & Sweet Berry Oatmeal bowls! Vegan, GF, & refined SF. Clean, satiating & a healthy whole food to kickstart for a stabilised day ☺️ The Dutch cold means warming comfort food for cosy weekends in - gezellig!! Having grown up on #congee (Chinese) aka #bubur (Malaysian), savoury breakfast is more my thing. Traditionally, Bubur is a simple dish with few ingredients but distinct flavours.  With oatmeal, I like having a whole lot more action in the bowl!  SAVOURY  1. Veg stock x 1 cup, either homemade or stock cube in hot water 2. Water x 1 cup (use only as needed) 3. Oats rolled (more chewy) x 1 cup, add to your pot and stir in the stock bit by bit  4. Start to develop the consistency to your preference and whilst this is cooking - steps 4 - 7. 5. Pak choy x 1 small, halved, seasoned with S&P, garlic & onion powder and sautéed in coconut oil - don’t toss, let it charr on each side 6. Oyster mushrooms x 2 large, sliced, salted and sautéed in the same pan as the pak choy 7. Smoked tofu x 50g, diced small 8. Hijiki seaweed x a few strands, soaked in hot water and finely sliced 9. Mung bean sprouts & Fried Garlic Flakes x a sprinkle 10. Once the oatmeal is at the consistency you like turn off the heat 11. Miso paste x 1 heaped tsp, stir well into the oatmeal 12. Season oatmeal with a bit more salt if you prefer & a sprinkle of chilli powder 13. Pour the oatmeal into your bowl and arrange ingredients from 4 - 8  14. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil, chilli flakes and hemp seeds  15. Toss it altogether and chow down!  SWEET  1. Oat milk x 1 cup, homemade or I like to use @oatly 2. Water x 1 cup 3. Oats rolled x 1 cup, cook in the pot adding the liquids in portions until reaching the consistency you like 4. Salt x tiny pinch 5. Vanilla seeds x 1/2 pod or use extract x 2 drops 6. Coconut sugar x 1 tsp or Liquid Stevia x 2 drops and stir through 7. Toppings of Homemade Sun butter & Red Berry Jam, Blueberries, Golden Mulberries (dried to soaked),

If you think prioritising protein intake is going to make you bulky, and drinking a protein shake will make you massive, think again. It is the key for me to stay lean, and put on lean muscle instead of fat. It also keeps me fuller for longer, which helps ward off the scary hangry trolls 👻

Bando alle ciance se volete replicare anche voi questo postworkout/colazione con i fiocchi, ecco la ricetta 👇. 1 strato: 25 g fiocchi d’avena integrali ecor  15g fiocchi d’avena latte e biscotti @bpr_nutrition  100 ml latte di mandorla @adezitalia  50 ml albume @lenaturelleofficial  80/100 ml acqua  Cannella  Estratto di vaniglia  2 strato  Yogurt greco @zymilitalia  Cannella  Burro di nocciole homemade  3 strato  Yogurt greco  Cremina al cacao  Cucchiaino raso di nutella homemade (domani giuro che posto la ricetta 🤪) Toppings:  Due amaretti @matilde.vicenzi  Granola fatta in casa  Altro burro di nocciole  Fave di cacao @bulkpowders_it  Procedimento:  Il procedimento del porridge è il solito quindi mischiare il tutto è cuocere a fuoco basso mi raccomando per ottenere questa consistenza cremosa (come potete vedere nel video). Versare in una ciotola, aggiungere l’amaretto sbriciolato, coprire con gli altri due strati e buttarci sopra tutti i toppings di questo mondo. So today’s porridge was prob a bit random but if you like beetroot then I’m pretty sure you’ll love it! It’s not overpowering....Deet’s below; . 40g oats. 30g cooked beetroot chopped small or could be grated. 50g grated courgette. 10g desiccated coconut. 1/2 tsp cinnamon. 5g chia seeds. 150ml @alpro Unsweetened almond milk. Hot water as required. . Add everything to a pan and heat gently stirring frequently for around 5-10 mins until cooked through, adding hot water as needed. I did not add any sweeteners to mine but a little maple syrup/honey would have been good I think if you like your porridge a little sweet. Took inspiration for this bowl from @cw_fitness92 . Wanted a lighter colour but wanted a cheeky contrast where I could get it. . This bowl was a big one! Overflowing with goodies. There is porridge underneath and its old fashioned oats which I can’t get enough of. . Nice and simple … . @myproteinuk My Protein Vanilla Whey. . @oreo Oreo Thins and Oreo Golden (first time tried and love them). . @proteincookiemadness Madness Cookies Birthday Cake. The colour was perfect for this and that soft crumble was so tasty. . Bloody love em . And some fruit to add that … HEALTH bit to the bowl. . This was perfect as had to go Doctors today for more blood tests. All fun and games and I doubt there is anything wrong but never nice having blood taken when it isn’t about giving blood. . Left arm looks like it has been battered! . Anyway, prior to that it was cardio day which was pretty decent really. Mixed it with some metabolic conditioning to spice things up and felt good. . Reverse diet is stable and added another 100Kcals a day today so will see how that progresses. I suspect I may need to drop a tiny bit to allow body to adjust. Good reason for more cookies though. . Eigentlich schon ein Basic-Porridge: Zimt-Chia-Porridge mit Bananenquark und Beeren. Ganz einfach gemacht und doch so gesund an ungesättigten Fetten, Eiweiß und Antioxidantien 👌🏼 So kann der Start in den Tag doch nur perfekt sein ☀️ ~~~ Zutaten: 40g Haferflocken  10g Chiasamen 1TL Zimt  1 Prise Salz 250ml Wasser 150g Magerquark  1 Banane Beeren nach Wahl  Und so geht’s: (1) Haferflocken, Chiasamen, Salz, Zimt und Wasser in einen Topf geben, aufkochen und dann auf mittlerer Stufe unter ständigem Rühren cremig einkochen lassen. (2) Die Banane mit einer Gabel zermatschen und mit dem Quark verrühren. (3) Alles in einer Schüssel anrichten und mit Beeren garnieren. Hallo ihr Lieben 🥰  Heute morgen habe ich mal was Neues probiert. #porridge aus #quinoa 😍 Oh, Mein, Gott 💕 das ist soooo pornös lecker, das wird mein neues Lieblingsfrühstück.  Ich habe 40 Gramm Quinoa mit 150ml Milch aufgekocht und mit Rocka Cookie Geschmack gesüßt.  Das ganze musste dann so 20 Minuten vor sich hinköcheln. Es ist wieder #porridgesuppendienstag von @susis_fitfood und @danilicious2.0 😍 Passend dazu habe ich mich an ein Schoko-Porridge im Schwarzwälder Kirsch Style gewagt 🤤 🥄 50g Haferflocken (186 Kalorien) 🥄 ein halbes Päckchen Puddingpulver Schoko (63 Kalorien) 🥄 250ml Mandelmilch (88 Kalorien) 🥄 250ml Wasser 🥄 1 TL Backkakao (6 Kalorien) 🥄 100g TK Kirschen (53 Kalorien) 🥄 100ml fettarme Milch (47 Kalorien) 🥄 1 TL Guarkernmehl 🥄 1 Stückchen dunkle Schokolade (33 Kalorien) 🥄 Süße nach Bedarf (Süßstoff, Erythrit, Flavdrops o.ä.) ▶️ Für das Porridge die Haferflocken im Wasser aufkochen. Das Puddingpulver mit etwas Süße in die Mandelmilch einrühren und in die Haferflocken einrühren. Das Ganze nochmal aufkochen lassen und anschließend abkühlen lassen.  Die Kirschen kurz in der Mikrowelle auftauen. Für die Fake-Sahne die Milch zusammen mit dem Guarkernmehl aufschlagen. Am besten geht das mit einem elektrischen Rührgerät, da sich sonst schnell Klumpen bilden.  Porridge, Kirschen und Sahne abwechselnd in Gläsern stapeln. This is the bowl I ate a few days ago when I woke up with a huge headache behind one eye and decided the best cure was a big bowl of chocolate oatmeal with extra pecan halva, butter toffee peanut butter and chocolate on top. It worked!!
Breakfast berry porridge 😍 . . Top tip: @morrisons wonky frozen berries are amazing, they’re only £3 for a kg of berries - mix of strawberries, black currants, red currants, raspberries and blackberries 🙌 . . I simply mixed 1/2 cup oats with 1/2 cup @alpro oat milk and 1/2 cup water and cooked on low until thick and creamy 😍 Towards the end of cooking I added 2 tsp @bioglanuk chia and flax seed mix, a handful of frozen berries and half a mashed banana! Yummy and filling 🤩⭐️

Buongiorno! Con il mio chocolate Porridge 😋  Buonissimo! Più che una colazione è un dessert vero e proprio ❤️ La consistenza è super cremosa e avvolgente. Ho cotto i fiocchi d'avena baby con una banana a pezzetti, cacao,cannella,acqua, e miele per dolcificare. A parte ho fuso 2 quadratini di cioccolato fondente e 1 di cioccolato alle nocciole, ho unito un cucchiaio di acqua tiepida, creando una cremina quasi liquida, ho unito poi  circa 60 gr. Di Yogurt magro,dolcificanti con stevia  e vaniglia. Realizzato così una buonissima mousse al cioccolato. Nella  ciotola ho versato prima il porridge,poi la mousse al cioccolato, sopra una spolverata di cacao amaro e il nuovo burro d'arachidi a pezzetti alla cannella 😍😍❤️😋😍❤️😍 Che dire... Ich hab hier neben mir noch ein Päckchen mit neuen Sport Klamotten liegen - die kommen dann wahrscheinlich gleich zum Einsatz 😌 . Schönen Dienstag ♥️ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ 🔻 Für Puddingoats 🔻 ▫️50gr zarte Haferflocken ▫️1/2 Päckchen Pudding-Pulver ▫️Wasser nach Gefühl ca. 300ml ▫️150ml Mandelmilch ▫️2 Scoops Flasty Vanilla Killa @sinob ▫️150gr Quark ▫️1 Apfel & Xucker ⏩ Das Wasser und Haferflocken aufkochen - gute Prise Salz rein. Puddingpulver, Flasty und Mandelmilch verrühren. Wenn die Haferflocken eingedickt sind, das Gemisch unterrühren und 1 Minute kochen lassen. Dann für mindestens 10 Minuten stehen lassen (draußen oder im Kühlschrank). Den Quark unterrühren. . Einen Apfel schneiden und mit Xucker, etwas Salz und 3 EL Wasser in einer Pfanne erhitzen, bis das Wasser fast ganz weg ist. Back to work & Back to Business  Feeling very glad I didn’t force myself to do those 18 miles on Sunday, and that I did Not make up for them Monday - I initially, seriously, and stupidly considered Doing the extra 13 miles Yesterday whilst I was off to add onto the 5 I did the day before 🤦🏼‍♀️ Luckily I saw sense and my body told me other wise. I was absolutely exhausted yesterday after the weekend away, so I’m so grateful I had managed to book yesterday off work 🙏🏻 I’m certain the rest yesterday and avoiding the long run has done me good. I’m hopeful of getting back to normal business this week with training and put in some hard work 💪🏻 starting with some speed work after work tonight 🏃‍♀️ But first - B r e a k f a s t 😍

I said I wouldn’t put any more negativity into this account and I promised myself I would stop talking about myself on here, but this I something I want to say. ————————————————————- My mum has told me I should take myself out of the recovery/mental health community because of 1) some negativity within it and 2) even the positivity is making me focus on things which I should not focus on so much i.e. my attitude towards food.  I don’t know if this account has made me put an unhealthy focus on food (again) or if it was motivating me and being a positive part of my life - it felt like the latter but I know I must admit that I cannot always trust my mind. ———————————————————— So I don’t know if it has been the right thing for me to detach myself from it or not. And the moment, I am finding it difficult because I feel fairly lost without it. Thinking, well what is the point in making my breakfast look pretty...or even having it at all...if my account isn’t important any more? #raw and #vulnerable post here: I’m talking about weight gain. Recently, I have gained weight. No, I don’t weigh myself anymore but I know I’m not as small as I was.  I think I’m almost at the weight I was before my eating disorder started.....5 years ago.  99.5% of me absolutely hates this.  But there is a 0.5% of me that is thinking that this is a good thing. My body is finding it’s normal again. 5 years ago, I was mid-puberty. I hadn’t fully developed, and then BAM eating disorder kicks in, my hormones just stop altogether and puberty doesn’t happen. If I am near that weight, it means that my body is working again. It’s where it needs to be right now. It knows what it is doing. It knows what is best for it. Restricting and over exercising again will not help. It will drag my body back into the stressed state again.  I just need to tolerate it for now. Gaining weight is not bad and it is natural. If you need to gain weight for ed reasons, or any other reason, remember it is necessary for your health.  Celebrate your body for getting healthy again. Love your body as it’s the only place you have to live! Love you oatlings x (Side note: the ‘minimum’ healthy weight may not be, and probably isn’t, your body’s healthy weight! Listen to your body signals and see where it ends up. That is the healthiest for you)
