you can either look at waves crashing against each other as a violent turn of nature or as a peaceful sound of natural occurrences. This can be a mirror for life. Things we can’t control will happen so it just depends, how do you want to look at it?
- 3/3: Last of the 'love?' series - Please indulge and tell me what you think, I don't show my emotions anymore but poetry has become the gateway to my heart. It used to be that I didn't get poetry, but now I'm starting to appreciate it a lot more - especially as I get older and bolder. - Check out my brand, I like it and you will too: @lifeonmaples
Are you broken or do you just have a broken mindset? • • Eventually we all come in contact with emotional pain that feels to be physical pain. It hits us hard and can traumatize us to feel like a broken clock! We tick but the time doesn’t change. - When you go through something that traumatizes you, you are wiring your brain to instinctively be alarmed when certain things trigger you. - This can literally send neurotransmitters to alert your brain you are in real physical pain. - A lot of people hold onto this stress and allow their brain to continue to flow through those same traumatizing moments. - You could go 10-20 years and longer without a change in how your brain reacts to it. - You can get over this though by simply forcing yourself to process the trauma throughly, allowing the anxiety and whatever else to participate. - You MUST think positive thoughts, and rationalize without emotion controlling your every decision. - Take a deep breath! Whatever shit went down, you will overcome just don’t allow that trauma to determine who you are! You are so much better then that!
