This is the bit that you've probably struggled with - until now! The secret sauce to pull-ups?🤔⠀ ⠀ ECCENTRICS! Doing controlled eccentrics for 4-5 s is the only game in town when you've hit a pull-up plateau. So check these videos below and remember the following cues:⠀ ⠀ 1️⃣ Belt-buckle up⠀ 2️⃣ Legs straight ahead⠀ 3️⃣ Step-up on a box and lower yourself down over 3-5 s⠀ ⠀ Doing eccentrics will cause a bit of muscle soreness. But the good news is, you don't need to do them very often (once a week is plenty!). De acordo com o principal autor do estudo, o médico do exercício e do esporte Claudio Gil Araújo, as descobertas são importantes,principalmente, para as pessoas com idades a partir dos 40 — quando a potência muscular começa a diminuir gradualmente. . Resultados da pesquisa: Com um acompanhamento médio de seis anos, constatou-se que homens e mulheres de meia-idade ou idosos (entre 41 e 85 anos) e com potência muscular máxima no movimento de remada alta cujos resultados se situavam dentre os 50% para a faixa etária e sexo tinham menor mortalidade. Quando eram comparados aqueles com resultados entre 25 e 50% dos melhores, a taxa de mortalidade aumentava de quatro a cinco vezes. Já aqueles com menor potência de toda a amostra, nos 25% inferiores, foi observada uma mortalidade entre dez a 13 vezes mais do que aqueles com resultados dentre os 50% melhores. . Não é necessário ter resultados espetaculares em potência muscular máxima, o benefício em redução de mortalidade já é percebido se está acima da mediana — destaca Claudio Gil. Use 2.0 in short intervals of high intensity over a short period of time and then drop down to 1.0 for your rest. . Go for it today. Go find a field, the turf in your gym, a basketball court or treadmill and move quickly then give yourself a break. You will find that you might enjoy it because you don't have to run a marathon to lose weight. You will also burn the equivalent amount of calories as an unimaginable long run if you give yourself enough repeats and rest. . Yes you do like running, you've just told yourself that you didn't. .
