I’ve been dealing with migraines lately...it’s been hard 🧠 I like to think I’m pretty tough, but migraine pain is awful and it feels like my brain is breaking. Today is the first day in a while I’ve woken up without a headache, I’m so happy! I even had the energy to workout today and take my kids to a fair. 🎡🎢🦄
WARNING: LADY SUBJECT. . . . #pcos has always gave me super irregular periods. I would have one anywhere from 1 to 3 times a year, which always hormonally had me a mess. I was on birth control for around 4 years to keep me regular and stopped taking them around November so that I could start trying to conceive. Around month 4, which was the 3rd month on my #ttcjourney my periods stopped completely. Even though I was ovulating (I think) it still stressed me out and made me nervous about my fertility. I've been 2 weeks now into my #weightlossjourney and Aunt Flo decided to visit today! The excitement. The feeling that my body was working like it was meant to! I've debated on waiting til I'm 75-100lbs down to start trying to conceive, but honestly I'm 30 this year and I'm just going to try while on my journey and plan on also making my future pregnancy a healthy one too. . . #pcos#pcosweightloss#weightloss#plussizefitness#plussizefit#gettinginshape#fitnotthin#losingweight#droppingpounds fertility
What I eat from Friday June 14th and Saturday June 15th only fruit. Friday was all mangos. I had 4 overall, I wasnt very hungry but I got what I needed. Today was better had 4 mangos, watermelon, chocolate nice cream with berries. Feel very satisfied, Im happy I had the bananas because the pain in my muscles went away. A lesson learned-eat potassium(bananas) after work outs to avoid cramping.
I’m slowly letting my voice out. ⠀ ⠀ It’s not easy when you spent years of your life suppressing what you really thought as it had consequences.⠀ ⠀ Growing up in a strict religion, I was taught by the church that the way I presented myself was more important than who I actually was inside.⠀ ⠀ I was shown that the consequences for those that questioned things were ostracism, being bullied and shunned.⠀ ⠀ Did I have a bad upbringing? Absolutely not, I had an incredible upbringing with beautiful parents and a loving family. ⠀ ⠀ But the strict church we were a part of was very different to that. ⠀ ⠀ The problem with that is, I spent my lifetime being taught that to think for myself was dangerous and to speak my truth was even worse.⠀ ⠀ Therefore I learnt not to, it was easier to be silent and to keep my opinions to myself.⠀ ⠀ I could only do that for so long though until I was bursting at the seams.⠀ ⠀ I’m not here to ram my beliefs down anyone’s throats and I’m not here trying to convince anyone that they have to think like me. ⠀ ⠀ I am however, a catalyst for self-healing. I believe the medicine we really crave is inward.⠀ ⠀ Now that I’m slowly coming out of my shell and allowing the real inner me to come out, here’s something I’m pissed off about!⠀ ⠀ I’m pretty pissed off with the medical industry and the damn pharmaceutical companies that have led so many people to believe that they need every drug under the sun to heal from xyz only to then either have to take that drug for life or turn to another medication to mask one of the symptoms that the first drug provided!⠀ ⠀ Sure medicine can save lives and if someone has an injury that requires immediate attention, they are going to a hospital and not to drink some herbal remedy BUT I do believe as a society we have become so used to numbing and masking symptoms rather than getting to the root issue.⠀ ⠀ What are our bodies trying to tell us?
Keto from Costco!! 🥦🥬🥩🥓🍗🥗 . My excitement got the best of me today and the hubby about had a heart attack when he saw the price!😳😂 at least we won’t have to buy groceries for the rest of the month.🤷🏼♀️ . List of what I got: chicken, ground beef, steak, beef jerky, cream cheese, salami, fresh green beans, baby spinach, broccoli, raspberries, blueberries, pork skins, cheese crisps, nut butter, swerve, almond flour, fiber gummies, apple cider vinegar pills, and cinnamon pills. . ✨cinnamon pills are something my dad takes to regulate his type 2 diabetes, so I figured why not give it a try to help with PCOS!? ✨ . Has anyone else tried cinnamon for PCOS?? #howdidido#sendmerecipes#cantwaittoketo#keto#pcos#ttc#fertilitydiet#pcosweightloss#pcosdiet#pcosdiva

Ya know just blinded by the light of how motivated I am. Just got back from a 3 mile run! WHAAAAATT?! I know some of you are like "pshaaawwww, that's nothing! I run that much in my sleep" BUT, this time a month ago I would've not even wanted to walk that much, much less run. It wasn't always that way, but that was where I was at. Hi, I'm Rachel. I'm here to crush some goals, kick PCOS's booty and eat some delicious (*and healthy) food along the way. Follow along if you'd like or just stare awkwardly at this picture and don't do anything. Its whatever. 😘

And then as soon as I crossed into my healthy BMI, I shockingly found out I was pregnant - surprise! Actually, it was 5 am on Father’s Day that I took that positive pregnancy test ☺️. I love that our health program gave me the tools I needed to continue my health journey through pregnancy and now postpartum so that I can have these all sweet photo memories. It took two years of my teacher, @LianaShanti, saying over and over what a blessing and privilege it is to have access to fresh fruits and vegetables and be able to eat a high raw diet, before I started adopting that mindset. When I did, I started getting healthier and losing weight. Along the way, there were times I felt frustrated about eating fruits and vegetables, instead of pizza and potato chips. I would remind myself how grateful I was that I didn’t have to eat dirt. Liana’s words would echo in my mind. It is a privilege to care for my body. It is a privilege to have the ability to juice fast and cleanse regularly. It is a privilege to eat healing foods full of life, and now I treat it as such. ~Aaralyn
Saturday evening sunset stroll 😌 . . This is my skin right now. Weird breakout pattern recently, and not really acne, more of a blotchy bumpy rash. Still, this is a lot better than my skin was a year ago. I’ll post a before and after skin soon - I need to find pics that accurately represent THE JOURNEY. . . My relationship with my skin is tough. Despite surprise periods, mysterious and varying abdomen pain, and unpredictable energy levels....acne has always been the hardest symptom of PCOS for me. . . I find many accounts very encouraging. @sarahs_day and @maeve_madden to name just a couple. . . More #pcosgoals accounts to recommend?
2 ingredient dough pizza for dinner. My husband even liked it! Toppings are just chef boyardee pizza sauce (judge me, idc, it's my favorite and not bad calorie wise!) Plus trader Joe's lite mozzarella. Just a basic cheese pizza. Next time I'm thinking sauerkraut and ham!
