I think as a believer of Jesus Christ the message of Gods love needs to be more preach and taught. People who aren’t following Jesus or is but has one foot in & one foot out needs Gods love more than His judgment. The world has already beat them down & tormented them. I noticed that people won’t let you in into they know you love them & then they will allow whatever seeds you are trying to plant to be planted. How would you feel if someone you don’t know like that comes to you & start pointing they finger & telling how you need to change or stop doing a certain thing when you don’t even know they story or how they ended up in certain situations? You won’t receive it very well. The message of Gods grace & mercy is often often skip to people in these situations. Which mercy & grace is what kept us all when we were in our sins. When I was heavily in my sins, fornicating, abusing drugs, lying, partying every night I was getting beat down from the lifestyle I choose. I came close to death 5 times so if someone came & preach Gods judgment or His rebuke towards me I didn’t care because I felt like I was already doomed for hell & death anyway so his judgment, wrath & rebuke didn’t faze me. It wasn’t until I knew how much God my Heavenly Father loves me and how precious I was to Him before I decided to change. His love provoked me to wanna do better. How precious I was to Him caused me to love myself & teach people how to love me. It wasn’t till later that I found out about His mercy and grace was the things that kept me alive when I did come close to death. Later I got a true revelations just how much He loves me when He sent His only begotten son Jesus to earth to shed His blood, die on the cross ✝️, go to hell , conquer it, take the keys to set the captives free and arose on the 3rd day. Now that’s LOVE & I knew then for sure God is Love & He Loves me. My life hasn’t been the same since that revelation but it all started out because someone
"This exhibit really personalizes substance use and shows the impact it's had on individuals and families," shares Dr. Antje Barreveld. I had no idea what was wrong with my patient. . . I was really nervous to start my neurology term this month. The brain, the nervous system and all of the pathology and pathways affecting these things is definitely not my strongest area of medicine. I mean, I even took neuroanatomy and physiology in my undergraduate degree and I still struggle! . . On my first week of neurology, I was tasked with getting the history and examining a new patient being admitted to my team. It took me over a full hour to understand this patients story and all of the neurological signs that they had (of which there were plenty!). An hour is obviously WAYYYYY too long - but it was hard! Hiwever, the worst part was not how long it took me....it was when the patient turned to me at the end of the exam and asked me what I thought was wrong with them... and I still had no idea. . . Whilst completely mind-boggling, this patient definitely did not have a straight-cut answer to their problem. However, the patient was not upset that I did not know what was wrong with them. Despite the common misconception that getting the diagnosis is immediately the most important thing for a patient, I have found that when I don’t know what is wrong, patients actually find it more important that: 1. They feel heard. I don’t mean just hearing what they say to you, I mean LISTENING to what they have to say. Take it all in, show interest in the details and make them feel like you are hanging onto every word that they say to you - every word is precious. 2. Have a plan. Don’t leave the patient in the dark - what is the next step? Who or what are they waiting for? Why are they still in hospital? How long will it be until they can get out? Keep your patient in the loop. 3. Ask for help. Always communicate with your team and let the patient know that you have told them too. Communication, communication, communication. . . Despite not knowing what the diagnosis was, with these steps, I know that we can get to
Day 109 of 2019 Daily Devotional Good Friday When it looks dark in your life, when things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesus, “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is, “God, I know You are going to finish what You’ve begun in my life. You are going to turn things around. I know that You are giving me the breaks that I need. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!” Always remember to speak victory over your circumstances because He is faithful, and He will complete what He’s started in you. A Prayer for Today: "Father in heaven, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I thank You that You will complete what You’ve started in my life. Today I choose to put my trust and hope in You knowing that You are working behind the scenes to bring victory to every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!!!” #day#109#of#2019#goodfriday#god#has#not#finished#writing#your#story#be#patient#and#have#faith#it#will#all#work#out
