Just wanted to let everyone know that you have one more week to enjoy a brew at @goodfirebrewing while being surrounded by animals (maybe, I honestly don’t know what the next artist’s work looks like). But seriously, go.
I started with 23 pallets. I have broken down 11 so far. This is the usable wood from 11 pallets. My guess is enough wood for maybe 100-175 signs. This part of the sign making is a lot of work. Thankfully we have had a couple mild days that I could start breaking down the pallet pile! . . . #handmade#vegasmade#palletwood#smallbusiness#repurpose
So I made another reclaimed palletwood box tonight. I'll probably add some jars, but I'm also thinking about woodburning something on the side of it. Any ideas? Feel free to comment. #reclaimedwood#palletwood#martinmade
Found a couple of real gems among the reclaimed beams I started prepping yesterday!😍 These beams will be used in a series of coffee table tabletops, featuring brown, grey, and saw-marked beams, mixed together for a unique look. After a lot of experimenting, I've found that an aluminum oxide flap disk in a grinder works best for cleaning up reclaimed wood, on a budget, while retaining saw marks and character in the wood.👌🏼🔥
