So I fell out. That means I just have to get back in, with no shame or guilt whatsoever. I have noticed a pattern: when I actually have a lot to share, courses, workshops, people to tag - it becomes so mental, so un-organic inside, and I can't seem to organize anything. I obviously need to post right away, there and then, in the flow of things. Its all good, you probably didnt notice I was gone anyway 😄 Here's a post teaching organic flow to open the hips and get some juice into the"winter-kidneys".
Morning flow meets mountain views ⛰ I think I’m starting to see what my yoga teacher meant by ‘this is a lifelong practice’... I‘m definitely not where I want to be, but I sure am working on it 🤸🏼♀️ In other news, I’m back in Oslo for a couple days to organize some things for Thailand! I went to get vaccinated this morning and then got my daily yoga fix with hot vinyasa flow @bikramyogaoslo 🧘🏼♀️ Don’t forget to move your body today and give it some much needed love 💛 In the words of Jim Rohn: “Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.” 🙏🏻

I saw this message from the universe a while back and never forgot it, because it is so true. When we take a moment to breathe, to be still, to go deep within ourselves searching for truth, there is always happiness there... an ocean of bliss... a refuge where peace is something we can bathe in. Thought of this today as I’ve been watching a loved one reconnect with their practice, and in so doing - reconnect with themselves. And it never ceases to amaze me how many times this practice will continue to heal, in so many different ways, at various points in our life when we need it. We are the lucky ones 🙏❤️📿
Hello Oslo Yogis. Sorry for the radio silence and the sudden disappearance from @leelayoga last month. I had a sudden family emergency I had to deal with which meant having to cancel all my classes and workshops until the new year. That said, I have missed being in the studio and sharing that energy with you all. So I have organised a couple of pop up yoga classes before I leave for 1 month in the Philippines in December. The first one will be a 75-min class on Friday 23rd November at @rawyogaoslo, 4-5.15pm. The second and last one for the year will be my favourite: a 90-minute full practice at @leelayoga on Saturday, 1st December 2.15pm-3.30pm. Hope to see some of you there 🙏❤️📿 . PS - if you were hoping to catch my “Intro to Dharma” and “Bind, Balance and Bend” workshop at @rawyogaoslo this month, we have confirmed the new dates for weekend of Jan 12 and 13. For more info and mat reservations, email firstname.lastname@example.org 👌
10 959 // This is how many days old I am. The number looks small though, don’t you think? . I’ve been so preoccupied by age lately. Crossing over to the big three-oh! How I’m getting «older». More mature. Adult. . . And then I look at this number. Ten thousand nine hundred and fifty nine. It’s so young. Consider the age of the Earth. Of the Universe. I’m a baby! . This age stuff ...it’s funny how much we put into it. Thirty has been a big deal for me – and rightfully so – but the truth is, entering thirty was easy. Getting there was not. But those last few steps were so incredibly sweet. And right now it’s those steps that lives on in my Heart. I’m so thankful to have arrived safely. A little bruised + confused, but genuinely so excited to be here. Scars and all! . Looking forward, I see adventure + endless opportunities. Beautifully mundane everydays. Love + loss. Laughs + tears. Ebbs + flows. I see a lifetime of being Human. . . Why must the number of days I’ve dwelled on this Earth in this body matter so much, when the love + joy I have for Life + my Human experience couldn’t possibly be measured by numbers? . . Today I am 10 959 days old. But more importantly I am living, loving life + excited about the Lifetime of being Human that still lies ahead! . . . . Wanna know how many days old you are?
