I realized the other day that I haven’t ever “introduced myself” on Instagram, so here I am! 👋🏼 👓 My name is Amorette, or Amo for short. I sometimes give fake names at coffee shops and restaurants to make life easier for everyone (can I get an amen, friends-with-unusual-names?) 👓 I have a love-hate relationship with social media. I’m still here, so I suppose the good outweighs the bad most of the time 🤷🏻♀️ 👓 I was pretty serious about being a furniture designer when I started college. My career path obviously changed quite a bit, but I still appreciate art and love to create. 👓 I am awkward a lot of the time. I was told once it’s endearing, so I cling to the hope that that is true. 👓 I am a first generation American- my parents immigrated to the US from 🇪🇬 Egypt. 👓 I love traveling and experiencing other cultures (particularly through food). 👓 I am an INTJ and enneagram type 1. 👓 I think ambrosia is a culinary abomination. #sorrynotsorry 👓 The goal of my Instagram/Facebook/blog is to educate the general public about eye health in a fun and easy-to-understand way. Thanks for following along! . . . #eyecingonthecake#optometry#publichealth#womeninoptometry#odsoninstagram
