Tuesday check in. It’s been a while and I’m happy with where I’m sitting.  Left pic was 2 weeks pre @wbff_aust GC show end of September.  Right pic taken this morning.  My goal was to stay lean for summer, still train but drop frequency and have a break from tracking.  My training has been consistent 4-5 days weight training with a mix of strength and volume. I’ve stuck to my food staples that I was on during prep because A) my digestion is so much better and B) because when I’m time poor and not tracking I’m familiar with values of these foods and they’re easy to prep.  Weekends I eat and drink whatever I want and I still have my chocolate or something sweet to satisfy cravings.  This isn’t a transformation but moderation. I will continue what I’m doing for the next couple of months until I start prep for shows next year.  My top tips for maintaining your physique: - training has to be part of your lifestyle. Learn to love and prioritise it. The longer you’ve been training the more it ingrains into your muscle memory and nervous system so even when you go off the wagon or have a binge you have more leeway to play with. - if you’re new to training don’t expect to train or do a summer shred for 6 weeks and keep results unless you periodise, reset goals and keep challenging your body to prevent adaptation - mindset is everything. One bad meal isn’t going to ruin your results but repeated bingeing will. The more observant you are around your eating habits the better ability you have to catch yourself, give your self-sabotaging thoughts a talking too and refocus to stay on track. - everything is energy. What do you tell yourself when you eat the piece of 🍰? If you are talking negatively to yourself, ‘you fat fuck, you’re useless and you’re failing by eating this cake.’ Vers ‘I’ve made the decision to eat this 🍰 and it tastes fucking amazing! Had absolutely NO motivation to go to the gym yesterday, eaten crap all weekend so I felt obliged to go. And I knew I'd feel better if I just went. I ended up having such a good session! Strength is flying through the roof these last couple of weeks 💪 managed 90kg 4x4 after so long. . . I need to stop worrying about gaining body fat, and feeling guilty for eating loads for one day. A friend of mine reminded me that it's Christmas once a year, and memories are to be made. You won't look back at those memories in 10 years & regret them, but you will regret not creating those memories. Any damage (if any) can be reversed . . That for me was a massive eye opener. It made me put things into perspective and look at the bigger picture. But this is what competing does to you, you do get self obsessed, you do panic about gaining masses of bodyfat. And that's because you work SO hard to shed it all off in the first place. But to look like that- you have to have no life. This off season is teaching me so much. As long as I train hard, eat well, the odd evening out won't make much of a difference. A big part of what we try to do at RNT is not only deliver great results to our client in the short term, but be able to educate them throughout the process so they can sustain their results in the long term. There’s no point getting to the shape of your life if you’re back to square one a few weeks later, which is why educating our clients on making a transition from being ‘physique focused’ to ‘performance focused’ is so critical. Tom (@tom_bridges) here is a GREAT example of someone who, despite wanting to now stay lean year round, places a constant emphasis now on getting stronger in his key indicator lifts. We post his transformation at the start of the year, and three months later, he looks even BETTER, which is a testament to only his work ethic and love for the process, but the intensity and drive he brings to his training sessions. For many of our clients who get into shape of their life, ‘bulking up’ to make improvements. Instead, they’d rather maintain their condition they’ve worked so hard to achieve. If this is your goal, it can be easy to fall into a rut, and which is why having a performance mindset is so critical. It’s also essential to keep short term goals to work towards. In Tom’s case, he was working towards getting into the shape for the beach in Jamaica, but for others it could be a wedding, birthday or whichever significant event is next in your life. The key takeaway point? If you want to transition successfully out of a diet and maintain your results, always focus on applying progressive overload with perfect form while working towards performance targets, and keep short-term ‘milestone’ goals to work towards throughout the year.

This is what 163 days of consistency and hard work has done. Today is day 164 and that just means it’s another day to push to better myself from yesterday. 163 days of working to be better than the day before. It adds up and before you know it big changes can happen.  First picture -top left is July 1st moving left to right a week difference. Third picture - top left July 1st Fourth picture - bottom right December 10th  5/6 compare first and last back double  7/8 compare first and last front double  Starting weight was 264lbs dropped the weight down to 241lbs on August 11th and built back up to 264lbs yesterday December 10th.  So thankful for @strandstrong And what he’s been able to do for me as my coach pushing me to be where I am right now drastically better look at the same weight as when we started. Let’s talk off season💁🏻‍♀️ I see a lot of athletes struggle during off season and TRUST ME - I HAVE BEEN THERE😏  I have had my ups and downs and I have doubted myself and fallen off the wagon.. I have cried and not wanted to go train or eat that prepped food on my bag😓 but in the end I pulled myself together and told myself to trust the process my coach has set in place for me and have found my groove during off season .. only took around 5 years 😂  I’m sure you all can agree when I say ur coach is merely there to guide you. You are the one who needs to hold yourself accountable for what you put in your mouth, sending progress pics etc. your coach can only do so much for you💥 at the end of the day, your coach is just that,a coach. From my first ever check in picture where I was dabbling with the idea of competing vs just over two years later where I stood on stage at one of the biggest & most well known international bodybuilding competitions, the NABBA Universe and I placed 3rd out of so many amazing girls🙌🏼 Fact is if you want something then go bloody get it!! Siemka Ananasy  Pomalutku przechodzę na Off czyli zmniejszam częstotliwość treningu na 3 dni w tygodniu, zaczynam system treningu: push, pull, legs. 10-15 min cardio i 4-5 posiłków dziennie w okolicach mojego zero kalorycznego. Rozpoczynam 3 miesiące "odpoczynku" gdzie zajmę się nadrabianiem zaległości w czytaniu książek bądź spotkań z rodziną i przyjaciółmi. Może zrobię jakieś kursy albo nowy zawód? Jednym słowem pełna regeneracja ale nie lecenie w kulki. Dieta na luzie ale zdrowo bez chlania gorzaly. Treningi z mniejszym obciążeniem, typowo pompujacy bez szaleństw.
