Not sure what I would do without my brother Gary. We resealed all the windows, did lots of hole fixing and he got under the trailer, inch by inch, and sealed up the underbelly. Lots of missing screws, lots of places for rodents to get in. Including a large hole that a previous owner had cut in the bottom to access plumbing. They used a piece of cardboard to cover the hole. So thankful that he took care of all of those things! Next up, finish caulking the windows, cut out bad subfloor and much more! #brothersarethebest#offgridliving#tinyhouse#tinyliving#demolition#traveltrailerrenovation#rvlife

Really feeling this slogan right now as we prepare to move to a new city (and state, technically!) this next week!!! @jwildperson and I are both so excited to start this new adventure together, but also nervous about being in a new place. Not having the familiarity of the place I’ve lived my entire life and he’s lived on and off for the last couple of years will be weird and take some getting used to for sure, but something new like that will be good to push us out of our comfort zone and that’s always a good learning experience!!! Wish us luck as we go through the process of moving this weekend. 🙃 Not looking forward to packing and moving, but I am excited to decorate the new place!! 😍
I took the week off of IG, (as some of you noticed... thank you for checking on me), just to refresh my mind, refocus & recenter. I'd noticed that I was out of balance. I felt like a cartoon character walking around with a black thought bubble over my head with chaos symbols dancing around in it... anybody know what I mean?🤷🏼♀️ ♡ Well rest assured, we weren't idle while I was away. I made good use of that time to spend with my family & work on some things that I'd been putting off because my butt seemed to have somehow gotten glued to my chair this past winter.🙄🙈 ▪I taught Bug Boy how to make birch baskets & he began practicing so he could teach how to make them for Kid's Class at camp next month during Passover (They'll be helping @awildernesshomestead teach survival skills). Then he started pumping them out, as well as multiple birdhouses, to sell at his little roadside stand this summer. ▪Chicken Whisperer started a bunch of seeds for our garden. (We have a couple of new ideas we are kicking around trying this year since gardening on a 30°slope of granite poses a lot of gardening challenges.) ▪I started my second ferment on my kombucha that I FINALLY got started again, & got a second batch brewing. ▪We learned some new skills ourselves, brainstormed some other ideas of things the boys can teach while at camp next month. I think they settled on teaching how to build a ram pump, knife sharpening 101 & the different tools you can use (including everyday items to use if you don't have any tools), birch basket & bowl making, paracord bracelet making, tin can camp stove, & building a primitive water filter. Some of the other things they are still kicking around are making your own fish hook and natural cordage options, making bow drill fire starting (including making the bow drill equipment from what you have one hand & a tinder bundle) sap & it's uses, and fat wood identification, harvesting and preparation. They have been busy bees.
How are you feeling? Ever since the full moon, I’ve been questioning everything. Our entire stay in Costa Rica has really been focused on transformation. Trying out new things, learning, evolving. It’s bringing me physical manifestations to help solidify these new beginnings. I’ve also realized how much I need nature. How much we all need it. I cannot wait to host my first long retreat here in 2020. It’s happening. And I cannot wait for you to experience everything we have been planning to do, with you. There is magical earth energy here that will help us all transition into new beginnings when you join our retreat in Costa Rica next year. Wie geht‘s euch? Bin in letzter Zeit sehr nachdenklich. Unser Retreat 2020 in Costa Rica. Jemand da draußen auch ein Overthinker? Aus der Hängematte habe ich mich aber erhoben, Sportschuhe angezogen, losgelaufen. Jetzt sind @laurafruitfairy und ich auf dem Weg in den Selvatura Park, in die pure Natur. Und ihr heute? 🌿 #hängematte#liebeliebeliebe#naturliebe
We recently shared the news we'd become Canadian @battlebornbatteries dealers. . . This was our first shipment of batteries, picked up in Oregon and brought back to Ontario, Canada for our Spring projects. . . Importing lithium into Canada is tricky. We are pleased to be helping our clients who've decided Battle Born batteries are right for them with this process. 👍 . . #analognomad#rayoutfitted
