Happy Easter everyone! Today I made my Grandmas sweet rolls, it took a few phone calls to my mom and sister for help, but they turned out great! And I only ate one lol. So that in and of itself is an #nsv for me. Usually I would have eaten at least 2. I also gave some away, and my family enjoyed them today. Back to my regular calorie defecit tomorrow!
Activity goals met 21/21 days! 9 days left to make 30. I went for a walk with doggy tonight to close my rings. It was absolutely beautiful outside this weekend. It was also really nice to have my folks visiting for the Easter holiday. I admit I strayed from my diet a bit..... Friday I succumbed to Chik-fil-a waffle fries. Saturday we went to outback and I had 6 oz of steak (double what I normally eat, my diet is 3oz of protein a day) and 1/3 of a baked potato. However in retrospect, I feel I did pretty good. Back in the day I would’ve had cheese fries for an appetizer, the steak, the full baked potato and maybe even dessert. Today I legit went against my plan completely for the first time tho. I haven’t had any sugary treats since March 4th, but today I had rice crispy treats dipped in chocolate. The chocolate fountain is my weakness!!! Also had some chocolate dipped strawberries too, man they were good. We will see how bad I slide backwards. I did not make it to 260 this week 😅 I stayed at 261.2 as of this morning. Its my goal this week to transcend below that mark and into 259 territory. I just need to get back on track with diet and fitness classes which won’t be hard during the work week as I don’t have any distractions or extra curricular activities going on.. To be honest I’m really not even feeling that guilty about what I ate. We gotta live our lives, right? No regrets. Life got in the way and I didn't get my workout in today, but I did workout 6 days out of the 7 this week and I'm still proud of that. I took a rest day for myself and let my mind and body recoup from this hectic week. Do something for yourself as often as you can because it is important.

Portion control in full effect 🌟 I make my meals in a small saucer! I’m learning portion control, learning to listen & watch as my body lets me know when it’s full! After so many years of making huge plates and never wasting food, it’s been a struggle with portion control...especially when using the large plates. Sizing the plate down to a saucer definitely helps out! #mindgames I hope all my Bariatric Sisters and Brothers enjoyed your meals today 😉
I’m not a fan of fitted shirts at all but had to graduate to maternity shirts. It seems like they are all fitted too...But I have to say I think the shirt looks alright!! Had a super eventful day today, so I didn’t have time to post this picture until now. Today’s tread block was so tough. I upped my push pace a little bit, so those 3 minute pushes definitely killed me. I still had a great time though!
spent all day at the hospital w my bff who flew in from FL bc her mom was suddenly hospitalized a couple days ago. her mom is my mom n her family is my family so this is a v difficult time & we are all hoping for the best . . so after breakfast she called me that it was time to go n we were there all day, we kept meaning to leave for lunch or call in some food but there was just a lot going on n meeting w nurses n gathering medical records etc. Her brother came later in the afternoon to sit in the room w mom so we left to get late lunch/early dinner at a wings bar . . my husband met us there n when we got the ticket, saw that our server had named our table "girls n Guy" which we had a good laugh over. We all split their giant fried mozz sticks app, n i also had some french fries(not pictured). My wings basket was naked grilled chicken n for sauce i got honey bbq, n thai chili. Also dipped all items in our shared ranch dip cups but ranch isnt pictured. Idk if u can tell from photo but those fried mozz sticks r like 3x as big as the ones i normally encounter!! sooo yumm n cheezy🤤 drink is diet coke . . When I first started coming back to the gym I was afraid to push anything more than 135lbs. . . Despite my fear I kept pushing my limits and engaging with that which scared me. . . Tried this for breakfast, mixed it with a caramel premier protein and it’s sooo good! Though, to save yourself the carbs and sugar, don’t add the caramel drizzle 😂🤦🏽♀️ (350 calories‼️ 177 just from the drizzle) I’ll try it that way and report back
