Savoury Miso & Sweet Berry Oatmeal bowls! Vegan, GF, & refined SF. Clean, satiating & a healthy whole food to kickstart for a stabilised day ☺️ The Dutch cold means warming comfort food for cosy weekends in - gezellig!! Having grown up on #congee (Chinese) aka #bubur (Malaysian), savoury breakfast is more my thing. Traditionally, Bubur is a simple dish with few ingredients but distinct flavours. With oatmeal, I like having a whole lot more action in the bowl! SAVOURY 1. Veg stock x 1 cup, either homemade or stock cube in hot water 2. Water x 1 cup (use only as needed) 3. Oats rolled (more chewy) x 1 cup, add to your pot and stir in the stock bit by bit 4. Start to develop the consistency to your preference and whilst this is cooking - steps 4 - 7. 5. Pak choy x 1 small, halved, seasoned with S&P, garlic & onion powder and sautéed in coconut oil - don’t toss, let it charr on each side 6. Oyster mushrooms x 2 large, sliced, salted and sautéed in the same pan as the pak choy 7. Smoked tofu x 50g, diced small 8. Hijiki seaweed x a few strands, soaked in hot water and finely sliced 9. Mung bean sprouts & Fried Garlic Flakes x a sprinkle 10. Once the oatmeal is at the consistency you like turn off the heat 11. Miso paste x 1 heaped tsp, stir well into the oatmeal 12. Season oatmeal with a bit more salt if you prefer & a sprinkle of chilli powder 13. Pour the oatmeal into your bowl and arrange ingredients from 4 - 8 14. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil, chilli flakes and hemp seeds 15. Toss it altogether and chow down! SWEET 1. Oat milk x 1 cup, homemade or I like to use @oatly 2. Water x 1 cup 3. Oats rolled x 1 cup, cook in the pot adding the liquids in portions until reaching the consistency you like 4. Salt x tiny pinch 5. Vanilla seeds x 1/2 pod or use extract x 2 drops 6. Coconut sugar x 1 tsp or Liquid Stevia x 2 drops and stir through 7. Toppings of Homemade Sun butter & Red Berry Jam, Blueberries, Golden Mulberries (dried to soaked),

Easy vegan breakfast - Seeded banana oatmeal! - By@theshreddedvegan - Full of iron, calcium, potassium, fibre and is seriously tasty. Perfect way to start the day off. - 1. Soak the oats for 10 minutes in boiling water with half of the hemp seeds and pumkin seeds and half the banana mashed up. At this stage I also like to add 1 date for sweetness: 2. Place on the stove, add the almond milk and cook for 5 minutes stirring often until the texture is nice and creamy. 4. Top with the other half of the banana, hemp seeds, pumkin seeds and any other toppings you like. I also added some goji berries. - Adjust the amount of oats accordingly to your needs, bear in mind that this will also change the macros. - Enjoy 👌🏾

Ready to start another week with this banana chocolate oatmeal. Just some -oats -soymilk -1/2 mashed banana -2 tsp cocoa powder -1/2 tsp cinnamon Topped with the rest of the banana, lots of pb, granola, and some vanilla chocolate sauce made from mixing some vanilla protein, chocolate walnut milk, and cinnamon 😋😋

What more could you ask for? . 👩🍳 You’ll need: ✔️1 Cup oats ✔️5-6 dates ✔️1 large handful of fresh spinach ✔️1/2 cup Greek yogurt ( plain or vanilla) ✔️2 eggs ✔️1 Teaspoon vanilla ✔️ 2TBSP water or nut milk ✔️2 teaspoons baking powder . 👉🏼Blend everything together. That’s right. In a blender. (You’re welcome.) . 👉🏼Cook in an oiled pan, (I love using coconut oil 🥥), about 2 tablespoons per pancake, until the batter starts to bubble ( 2-3 min). Flip them over and cook for another minute or so. ENJOY ! ❤️ . 💡Little tip: Only cook the pancakes you need for that morning, and save the extra batter in a recycled squeeze bottle for an even quicker breakfast the next day. This is the bowl I ate a few days ago when I woke up with a huge headache behind one eye and decided the best cure was a big bowl of chocolate oatmeal with extra pecan halva, butter toffee peanut butter and chocolate on top. It worked!!
My everyday salted caramel peanut butter oats 🤤 This meal is what I’m looking forward to everyday. Trust me, it’s a winner! 💪🏼 And 2. picture is how my oats look everyday, mixed up with the peanut butter in the middle, just to eat right away 😇 Ingredients: 35g oats 30g/1 scoop of salted caramel protein powder (I use #bulkpowders because the taste/consistency of salted caramel is better than others I’ve tried) 5g chia seeds 3-4g grounded cinnamon Pinch of salt 350ml water 15g peanut butter 40g frozen blueberries 40g frozen raspberries 5g coconut flakes Instructions: 1. Mix oats, chia seeds, cinnamon and salt together. Add the water and stir it until it’s mixed. Optional: to make it really creamy, sweet and extra delicious, add a sliced ripe banana and add 15-20g of peanut butter after you have done step 1. 2. Microwave now for 2:30-3:00min. Take it out and stir your protein powder in. 3. Microwave for another 30 sec if you like it thick like I do or just skip this part. 4. Add toppings! I usually go with raspberries, blueberries, coconut flakes and some peanut butter. But be creative and add whatever you like. 5. I said I wouldn’t put any more negativity into this account and I promised myself I would stop talking about myself on here, but this I something I want to say. ————————————————————- My mum has told me I should take myself out of the recovery/mental health community because of 1) some negativity within it and 2) even the positivity is making me focus on things which I should not focus on so much i.e. my attitude towards food. I don’t know if this account has made me put an unhealthy focus on food (again) or if it was motivating me and being a positive part of my life - it felt like the latter but I know I must admit that I cannot always trust my mind. ———————————————————— So I don’t know if it has been the right thing for me to detach myself from it or not. And the moment, I am finding it difficult because I feel fairly lost without it. Blueberries are back on the menu having finally found blueberries (and strawberries) in cardboard containers rather than plastic ones! I strongly associate spring with Easter, that is with carrot cake 😉this inspired me to make this carrot cake oatmeal bowl, with which I’d like to join the girls’ party: 🌺50g oats 🌺1 tbsp oat/wheat bran 🌺1 tbsp ground flaxseed 🌺1 tbsp sweetener of choice 🌺1 medium grated carrot 🌺200ml favourite milk 🌺150ml water (or sub with more milk) 🌺1 tsp cinnamon 🌺1/2 tsp ginger 🌺1/2 tsp nutmeg 🌺1/2 tsp cardamom Let everything soak for a few minutes and then cook until reaching your favorite consistency.
