How delicious do these rice paper wraps look by @thepurelife_ 'RICE PAPER WRAPS 🥑 packed with homegrown spinach, leafy greens mix, avo, matchstick carrots, cucumber, fresh basil, organic tofu strips, glass noodles, shredded coconut and a peanut sauce to dip! Sooooo yum and satisfying SUMMER ROLL DIPPING SAUCE 1/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter 1/4 cup coconut aminos or tamari - GF soya sauce alternatives 1-3 drops of pure sesame oil 1 inch chopped ginger root 1 garlic clove, chopped The juice of 1 lime or lemon A splash of water and 2 tbsp coconut milk - optional Blend up until creamy (I use a nutribullet) and dip the rolls into the sauce!’

PROTEIN PANCAKES!! So simple and such a filling breakfast to start the day right! These were made with only 3 INGREDIENTS! Banana 🍌 eggs 🥚 and @tropeaka protein powder 💪🏼💪🏼 I also added a teaspoon of baking powder to make them rise a bit! Was super short on toppings so just added a drizzle of maple syrup and cacao nibs for a bitta crunch! SO GOOD 😍

Sunday’s call for baking so on the weekend I baked these beauties and they turned out sooooo good ✔️✔️ was following a recipe and then realised I didn’t have any vegan chocolate (half of the recipe!) so I had to wing it! Favourite breakfast at the moment! My delicious homemade granola with @raglancoconutyoghurt and lots of fresh fruit! This morning I topped it with mango, banana, kiwifruit, blueberries, cacao nibs and chia seeds! A breakfast FULL OF NUTRIENTS. Healthy fats in the almonds and coconut yoghurt, loads of antioxidants in the blueberries and cacao nibs, fibre from the fresh fruit and chia seeds. So many more benefits and great nutrition in this breakfast! A must try 🙌🏼🙌🏼 plus it’s DAIRY FREE AND VEGAN 🌱🌱
Been loving my breakfast protein smoothie bowls lately filling them with all things nutritious to fuel me for the day! Thankfully the low fat fad is almost over, but STILL there are low fat products on the shelves 😩 Like, why? Fat is good for you! If a food is naturally high in fat - e.g. dairy products - there is a reason for this! It is because you need the fat to absorb the nutrients present. When a high fat food is turned into a low fat version, something needs to be added in place of the fat - and almost always it is replaced with sugar, and additives to give the same fatty mouth feel (Yuck 🤮) Avoid artificially low fat foods, and instead eat the good fats (butter, dairy, olives, avo, nuts and seeds) in moderation as part of a healthy diet. . . . . #wellnessbyjessica#healthyfats#behealthy#fatfree#nutrients#nzhealthy

BUT what I also want you to do is to take something to have a long side this that you need to chew. Chewing is an important part of eating, it signals to both your brain and stomach that you are eating and to prepare important digestive enzymes.
