LET’S TALK ABOUT BREAKFAST PPL 👏👏👏 I tried the classic Irish breakfast for the first time in Dublin when visiting with my sister and it was super filling and delicious! Mind you, I originally was expecting Irish breakfast to be the same as English breakfast but nope, there was a difference ☝️. Highly recommend checking out Wuff neighbourhood bistro if you’re visiting Dublin and stopping by to check out local food (YUM).
Arguably *the* best ramen spot in NYC, hidden away in Greenwich Village. Affordable food without an excruciating wait time, and of course delicious ramen! 🍜 The noodles have just the perfect amount of crunch, and the pork belly is charred just enough to taste its flavor, yet not enough to overwhelm. The broth is delicious—really can’t get enough of this! Enoki mushrooms are also a huge plus, as well as the traditional egg.
Quinta de Cidrô Boal 2017 is an interesting wine from Portugal that one got to taste at the bar at Swea in the Elite Plaza Hotel in Gothenburg. Here you have lemon, minerals, and hints of vanilla on the nose while the palate gets some peach in the middle.

Deutz Classic Brut Champagne N.V. is a nice sipping bubbly while waiting at the hotel bar for friends to arrive. On the nose, you get the familiar green apple, citrus, and toast, which is mimicked on the palate. Balanced acidity and sweetness to enjoy by itself, or some delightful caviar toasts or potato chips.
So in love I could almost marrow it 🍖💍 . . But seriously the bone marrow at #blueribbon served with fluffy toasted bread and sweet teriyaki sauce was so heavenly and delicious I could slow eat it forever.
. South African Gatsby Sandwich (Serves 4) . Please try this amazing sandwich on the weekend. Along with the vegetable laksa recipe, this is another top recipe that you must try. It is worth the effort. I can imagine a sandwich like this doing well in NYC (if it hasn’t already made its way there). . Ingredients . A) 3/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped finely 1 brown onion, diced 3 cloves garlic minced 1 1/2 tablespoons tamari 1/2 teaspoon sage 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 300 grams firm tofu (crumble with fingers) 1/2 teaspoon olive oil . B) 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chips 1/2 red onion, cut into bite size pieces A few dashes of pepper A dash of salt A few dashes of onion powder A few dashes of garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon olive oil . C) 1/4 cup cashews 1/2 cup plant-based milk 1/2 cup vegetable broth 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast 1/2 tablespoon wholemeal flour Juice of 2 lemon wedges A few dashes of pepper A handful of chives, chopped . D) 4 lettuce leaves, chopped 1 gherkin, sliced 8 pieces of sun dried tomatoes, cut into bite size pieces (you can use traditional regular tomato for a subtler flavour but the family vote goes to sun dried tomato) 4 tablespoons of homemade chilli sauce, tomato sauce, or barbeque sauce 8 slices of wholemeal bread (toasted) . Method . Mix A) together well and transfer to oven for 30 minutes @ 175 C, mix again at halfway point while in the oven. . Mix B) together and transfer to oven for 20 minutes @ 210 C. . Blend C) together (except chives). Stir in chives. Heat vegan cheese sauce in a pot until it thickens. . Assemble A), B), C), and D) together. . Thank you for the best sandwich in the world.
