Friendsgiving 🤗  Today I gave no fucks, I just wanted to relax and enjoy some good ass food with people that I love & babeeee I did just that! Fasted til I got there, enjoyed some appetizers til dinner was served. This was my only plate. Sure I was satisfied, even full before I finished, but I ate it ALL. Even had a small slice of cheesecake & banana pudding for dessert.  No wine, but a few bottles of water.  No regrets, I think I actually did pretty good, thinking about it. Some bent-over rows and Romanian deadlifts from Friday morning's session.  135lbs for 5x20 each. ▫️ I really enjoy the challenge of maintaining form during movements like this where the whole body is required. That way whenever I go heavier I feel much better about it with regards to risking injury. If you're constantly trying to go as heavy as possible each session, are you really learning to perform that lift in a way that's going to benefit your body the most, or your ego? . Lose Fat Without Cardio!?👇🏼By @kyle.coughlan ⠀ . Yes, you can indeed lose fat without doing any cardio. ⠀ If you saw my post regarding the fat loss pyramid, you’ll know that the most important factor for fat loss is being in a calorie deficit. ⠀ A calorie deficit is created when you burn more calories than you consume. ⠀ To create a deficit, you can either eat less, move more, or do both. ⠀ So if you don’t like cardio and don’t feel the need to do it, you will have to be very careful with your nutrition. ⠀ I personally like cardio because it means I don’t have to cut my calorie intake by that much. ⠀ However, if you find it easier to just create a large enough deficit by eating less, than you can indeed lose fat. ⠀ Try starting off with a 10% calorie deficit and then once you hit a plateau increase by 5% and repeat. ⠀ Make sure you listen to your body. I do not recommend consuming an amount that’s below your basal metabolic rate. This can cause health problems. ⠀ You may also need to implement diet breaks to prolong the fat loss process and to prevent hormonal imbalances. ⠀ Would you like me to do a post regarding diet breaks? Popcorn is a perfect healthier snack to have.  I'm not talking about some of the outlandish (but somehow delicious) flavors of popcorn we so often consume today. Cheddar topping, sea salt caramel,taco flavored popcorn seasoning.. yo if you want a taco have a taco don't crush it and cover popcorn with it . Anyway as I was saying popcorn can be healthy. Here's how: Less fat and calories than chips, the added fiber helps digestion and when made simple, the lower calorie portions won’t destroy your diet 🍿
Soooo... My body changed a bit😬😉 and everyone asks what I've been doing. Well I had a conversation with an intelligent trainer and he told me about this intermittent fasting and I told him "yea... Right 😒"... But i tried it anyway🤷🏾‍♀️. I've been doing this since July in conjunction with being physical and the results are what you see💫 Its explained pretty clearly in this repost so read below and maybe give it a try 🤷🏾‍♀️ 💫⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️💫 #repost @mazerfitness with @get_repost ・・・ 💥INTERMITTENT FASTING💥 - 🤔So what is this magical intermittent fasting thing? - 😋It’s literally just a meal timing strategy that will make creating a calorie deficit easier.. That’s what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. - For me personally I’ve found that an 8 hour eating window works best for me. For others an 6 hour or 10 hour eating window might work better. Choose whatever time frame that works for you and run with it! People telling you, “you’re only allowed to have a 6 hour eating window” refer to IF as some magical thing. That’s not how I want to use it. It’s just a meal timing strategy. Choose a timeframe that works for you!! - Also, I like have my last meal 2 hour before I go to bed so I don’t wake up starving, this helps me in adhering to not eating in the morning better. - These are the time windows that work best for me, but if you find that different time windows work better for you, by all means go for it and make it work for you! - I hope this was helpful and of course, if you have any questions.
