#esclerosismultiple#enfermeria#medicina#salud#nurse#nursing#em#post#infermeria#postoftheday#medulaespinal#cerebro
"I came to this unit in pretty bad shape and was here 21 days. Jessica cared for me at the beginning of my long stay and is the epitome of a dedicated caregiver. The days Jessica was not assigned to me, she always checked to see how I was doing. There was not one time during her multi-day, 12-hour shift that Jessica didn’t have a bright smile on her face and make you feel like you were her only patient." Congrats to nurse assistant Jessica Bustamante, the Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital Honey Bee Award winner!

We spent the day yesterday at the children’s hospital that saved our little Rad Baby’s life when she was first born. ♥️ Every few months, we meet with an amazing, multidisciplinary neonatal follow-up team of paediatricians, paediatric nurses, developmental workers, and physiotherapists to make sure our little baby’s health and development is on track ♥️💪 My preemie will always be my hero and the strongest soul I have ever met. #preemiepower

No need to swing by the post office on Christmas Eve on our way to church this year!!! 🙌 (ahem, 2013...) Christmas cards are sent! Got the last of them in the mail before Dec 19, which is a win for us procrastinators!!! . . I try to be eco friendly, but I also love giving/receiving all the beautiful cards from our friends and family- I save all the picture cards! . . Do you have any earth-friendly Christmas card ideas? Do you save your Christmas cards from years past? . . Also, PS- also there’s no longer a post office in the mall, which I found out the hard way. 🤦🏻♀️
Hey Everyone, I’m a fourth year medical student currently in the middle of the residency application process. I wanted to create a separate account to document my journey through residency. I figured now was a better time than ever! Stay tuned.
Forever in the supply closet looking for things that are right in front of my face. I worked in the ICU Monday and had a great shift! Where do you work?! If you're not in healthcare I still want to know! Before getting into health care I had several jobs. The one that helped me most was being a waitress and bartender. Being a waitress/bartender really taught me to multitask/prioritize which helped me a lot when I became a nurse assistant and then a RN. If you're writing application essays for nursing school (or any school) and you haven't worked in that field yet don't worry. Just think about how your current job is helping you grow and write about that. You can take your skills and apply them to anything! Ex: Working in retail has helped you navigate dealing with people in difficult situations. It has also helped you become great at multitasking and extremely organized.
“I never dreamt of success, I worked for it” and that’s so true Nursing is a hard degree and I faced a lot of obstacles along the way, including the loss of 2 of my favorite people, who i know would be so proud of me. (Love and miss you grandma and grandpa). I can’t believe I graduated last Friday! So happy to be done with nursing school! All of that hard work payed off! #quote#graduation#selfie#capandgown#nursing#nursingschool#matc#collegegraduate

I know I haven’t posted in a long time, but I’ve been working on a couple of projects that I hope to post quite soon. 🤞🏼 But since today is #nationalimmigrantsday I wanted to post some pictures I took in Guatemala and Honduras 💙 Both are very beautiful countries with different and amazing cultures! So much hatred is being propagated towards people who deserve as much love and welcoming as anyone else, and I truly believe that having a day to celebrate immigrants from all around the world is both beautiful and sad. Beautiful because we recognize that the U. S. is diverse but sad because the immigrants’ lives are not getting easier. A Bible verse that I thought fitting was Galatians 3:28 > #love#christ#jesus#diversity#guatemala#honduras#photography#nature#sights#beautiful#simplecanvas#galatians#bibleverse#nursing#cultures#racism
