Slow Cooker Lasagne I have made my lasagne this way for years as it made teatime so much easier when the kids were little 😏 I used Colemans white sauce 5.5 syns per packet I made it up using water. This recipe makes 4 portions so calling my portion 1.5 syns which is for the white sauce, cheese is HEa. Red berry smoothie bowl πŸ“πŸ’š Basically a really thick Greek yoghurt smoothie that you see what you can balance on top! I warm mine in the microwave too, so it’s like a fruity soup. So good! LONG RUN FRIDAY πŸ˜πŸ’š I’m trying to get my long run distance up again, in the hope that I might still get a London marathon place for next year (and I signed up for a half marathon this morning, which takes place in about three weeks...!), so 8 miles was my target this morning and I did it πŸ˜„  The weather was cool but beautiful, and it was such a nice run. I managed to do the first 10km in 56:50 which I was pleased with, and overall pace was ok too. Food and coffee now. So glad we’re not yet out of porridge season 😁. It means I can use my freshly made berry sauce (strawberries and raspberries just boiled with water - I’m a no fuss cook πŸ˜†) along with our recently harvested sunflower seeds (yes they’re little fullas - they’ve had a tough year and we’re lucky they managed to grow at all in the drought!). Here is a midweek meal idea put together following your votes on my IG poll, using this easy feature! πŸ₯¦ 1. Cube a potato into a glass bowl, cover with cling film, pierce then cook in microwave for 8mins 2. Place Cod Fillet into microwave dish with 3 tablespoons of water, cover with cling film, again pierce cook in microwave for 12mins 3. Once done in a separate bowl add the fish, potatoes, 1/2 cup of frozen peas, 2 tablespoons of soft cheese, 1 egg and some herbs 4. Mix together and then form into fish cake shapes 5. Dip them in breadcrumbs, place on a tray and cook as per fishcake instructions For Veg Fries: 6. Slice Carrot, Parsnips and Sweet Potato into Chip shapes 7. I have double-running on a Wednesday, morning and evening, so between runs I eat to re-fuel and fuel myself and to keep hunger from bay, as I don’t eat til 8ish when I get home from run two πŸ’š  So today it was eggs on toast and coffee after run one, then mid afternoon I had SJC Chocolate & Banana Porridge (coming in Week Five!) and lots of hot water with ginger.
