Cherry tomatoes work every. time. 🙌 They are literally one of my daughter's favorite foods, and if she sees them in the fridge she will sit on her bottom and demand we give her some right then. 😂 Since they help to keep her regular, and are a veggie, I can't say that it's something I really resist, either. . . We just picked a huge batch of them from our yard, so don't be surprised if you see them frequently for the next little bit! . . ☀️WAKE CUES☀️ We hear people talk about hunger cues and sleep cues💤, but what about wake cues? Actually, wake cues come from the caregiver! It can be something as simple as “good morning, how was your sleep?” - Giving your 3+ month old child wake cues can help them distinguish their daytime feeds from their night feeds, reducing those night feeds that turn into parties at 3am🎈💫 🙈When your child first wakes from daytime sleep, instead of immediately rushing to feed him or her, say hello, and have a quick chat! Of course we never want to ignore hunger cues, mom and dad know best, so it’s up to you to gauge the needs of your child, but if you can, pause for a bit with your little one, maybe look out the window together or say hello to their favorite stuffed toy or even the family pet. This will help if they wake in the middle of the night to eat, they learn that no stimulation= it’s still bed time!
