Grace is famous 👧🏼 in Asia We did not know heading to Asia we would be such an “attraction” I’m not sure if it’s the blonde hair or the size of our family or just the combo of both! All the kids get asked to pose for photos but @gracewayfinder is the most popular! The kids don’t mind at all and we are having so much fun!
From driving on the Amalfi coast to the highest Alpine road in Austria we have embarked on quite a few road trips over the years. The shortest one was our Moorea Island drive, a 36 mile drive around the heart shaped island. Longest one was a 2 week driving trip from Vienna to Geneva.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It is National Road Trip Day, if you are looking for some inspiration, there are a few on the blog under Road trips(link in the bio). Do you have any road trips planned for this summer??.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #nationalroadtripday#roadtrip#frenchpolynesia#summerroadtrips#moorea
Hi from sunny and warm Croatia☀️ My hubby and I have been in Dubrovnik for close to 4 hours and already LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! We had amazing tapas (swipe to see) 😋 and are now heading back to our Airbnb to rest up for our long day of exploring tomorrow! 😍
We are so amazed by the magical way that @conunpardemaletas captured the incredible country of #iran 🇮🇷 ✨ This photo encapsulates the beauty of the Nasir al-Mulk Mosque (otherwise known as the #pinkmosque) so wonderfully. Nasir al-Mulk Mosque is located in #shiraz, Iran. Shiraz is one of the oldest Iranian cities, and is known for its vibrant culture of art and craftsmanship - as you can see here through what is considered to be one of the most beautiful mosques in the entire country. The stained glass is absolutely stunning, and it’s filled with thousands of intricately painted tiles on the ceiling and gorgeous Persian rugs covering the floor. This place of worship is a beautiful rainbow of color, and feels like stepping into a kaleidoscope 🌈
Is this a llamas mating call or should I feed them more carrots?🥕 . Any good llama puns?🦙🦙 • • • • • • • • #bealpha#alphacollective @awesome.earth @ourplanetdaily @theglobewanderer @nature @earthpix @natgeoyourshot @natgeo @discoverearth @earth @sonyalpha
Although it's my third time visiting our neighbors to the south, it's the first time that doesn't involve a beach and an all-inclusive resort. Cholula isn't full of souvenir shops, tour operators or white people. Instead, it's full of young students, delicious food and nightlife. Mexico was my first international destination after moving to the United States, and revisiting the country brings back warm memories. It's like visiting an old friend. Except your old friend learned a new language. Even after studying Spanish for years, the local dialect is rather difficult to decipher for me. Luckily, the locals understand my food orders, and that's all that matters.
We haven’t gotten off these 🚲 since we arrived in Hoi An! We’re still here, but we traded the city for the beach and our bicycles for motorbikes. If Vietnam has given us anything (besides insane food + jaw dropping scenery!) it’s mad motorbiking skills🤨
"Stay simple, stay wild" I simply cannot describe how good I felt in that simplicity. No electricity, no mobile network, no Netflix, just only you and the nature. Believe me, no combination is better than nature and simplicity. If you haven't been to hills till yet, I must say you go there once because then you, like me, will be advising other to visit to the mountains for at least once in their life time. So just go and experience yourself the undescribeable beauty of the hills. Note: Guys I am requesting everyone of you, go to hills to chill but please don't litter. It would affect the nature around us and when it will bounce back you or anyone of us will not be able to save ourselves and there is no undoing it at that point of time. So better sorry than be late.
#neverstoplearning Like any Hindu home, ours has the Tulsi plant. Why is Tulsi such an integral part of Hinduism? Tulsi is considered dear to Lord Vishnu. She is also personified as a woman and one of the escorts of Lord Krishna. As a result, Tulsi is considered a holy plant. It is customary to light a diya (lamp) near Tulsi and offer prayers. She is said to promote longevity of life, happiness and spiritual bliss. Tulsi also has many medicinal benefits. The leaves are especially effective against colds, fever, bronchitis, cough and other respiratory problems. For example, my mom loves to boil Tulsi leaves when preparing her black tea. It’s always a great idea to have a Tulsi plant at home. If it doesn’t grow naturally in the region, you can always find seeds at your local Hindu temple. 🤗 #incredibleindiaofficial
Panama City is a weird place. It’s expensive and charges in dollars yet lacks the sophistication that you’d expect when paying $5 for a coffee. The old town of Casco Viejo has some beautiful buildings that have been remodeled and house swanky bistros, while the adjacent property is in disrepair with lower income families living inside, kids, laundry and trash spilling out onto the sidewalk. I am continually left with the feeling that the family is a few months away from being displaced as a wealthy investor buys the building and converts it into a high end store selling expensive white hats to tourists. There’s clearly a lot of money around but it seems to be in the hands of a few. The downtown business district is a sea of high-rise office buildings for Bancolombia, BAC and other financial institutions. Large residential condominium blocks all look brand new and largely unoccupied. Why would you build a massive, expensive building, pouring huge amounts of money into it and then have it stand empty while you build another one? Mmmmm. 💵🛁 People in downtown Panama are there for a single reason, business. Smart, overpriced restaurants are filled with tables of men in suits, speaking English, except for the Gringos who speak Spanish when asking the waiter for directions to the bathrooms. The lack of its own culture and tradition is evident in the architecture, food and retail. The more American the better and American food chains dominate the food courts in shopping centers. Trendy rooftop bars see no problem in charging $30 for a salad and a beer and then decorating the restroom with kitsch plastic flowers. Like the US, cars need to be as big as can be afforded. Walking around the middle class suburbs most homes will have least one KIA type SUV in the driveway, an unhealthily high vehicle to home value ratio. Despite its lack of authenticity it’s been a successful two weeks here. I sorted out my European visas and some personal admin that needed
