The two questions I ask myself daily during my morning routine. Learning to listen to my mind and body on a daily basis has made such an impact on my life! As a typical type A personality I used to want to force myself to stick with one meal plan, exercise routine, etc regardless of how I felt each day thinking that even if I was exhausted I still needed to kill myself to get to the gym. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Forcing myself to stick to one set plan regardless of how I felt. The reality is, however, that our bodies and emotions change and need different things on different days. What is best for my body today may not be what is best for my body tomorrow. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If I wake up feeling tight and tense I may change my workout that day from a long run to a yoga class and sauna session. If I am bursting with energy I may change my 30 minute run to a 60 minute run! If I am feeling overwhelmed mentally I know I need to spend some extra “alone time” with myself processing, writing, meditating, etc. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Take each day at a time, listen to your mind and body and try adjusting your lifestyle accordingly and see how it feels!

Just added a new treatment and updated my menu! Link in bio. Inclusivity and authenticity have always been important to me. So I’ve created a treatment just for Hawai’i locals that will hopefully support more if not all groups on the island interested in natural skincare. For those who don’t visit me can access free tutorials/knowledge I share on here. I’ve also went further back to my roots to focus more on East Asian therapies that I’ve had the privilege of studying first hand in Asia from skilled descendants, and only Western therapies I’ve learned from Western teachers who embody old age and modern therapies from the west. To me, all practices should be presented with honor and respect to where they came from—they are gifts to heal and not for ownership. I don’t like to share something I don’t know 100%. Being Vietnamese and American, these are the two worlds I know best. I’m so blessed to encounter these therapies of our ancestors, and with permission, share them with you.
