I have had the pleasure of learning and experience with @bellagrossi_ and can I say she has a brilliant mind! Her views on today’s world are going to make a difference and the future take in her wisdom and thanks for letting me feature you!! . When I was in college, I had big dreams. Dreams of moving far away, traveling the world, moving up the ladder and making a big difference. When I started my career, I accepted a job I loved, took some time off to travel to Europe and then accepted a promotion at a new company. Sounds pretty good, right? Yet, I still found myself missing that last piece. How am I making a difference? While I loved my job and worked hard at it, I was constantly thinking about how teachers, nurses, and politicians are the people who are making a difference. When I graduated from college, my job became my life. That's where I focused most of my time and energy. I started to feel like my job defined who I was. I felt like if marketing is who I am, that's not who I want to be. Yes, I am good at it. Yes, I like it. But, I didn’t think I was doing enough in the world. I need to do something bigger! I find that a lot of my friends run into this same problem. We put so much pressure on ourselves to do something great after college. We compare ourselves to our friends and worry about what are our families think of us. The truth is, a job is a job is a job. The important lesson to learn it that as long as you enjoy doing it then who cares! Let's face it, I'm never going to solve world hunger, perform open-heart surgery, or stop Trump from building that wall. But do I still make an impact? Of course! I realized that when I help a client solve a problem I am making their life easier. When I laugh with co-worker, I am making their day better. I also have the pleasure to coach high school speech and debate where I I’m helping kids build their confidence. I’m finding out that it's the little things that make the biggest impact. . . #millennials
Today is National Trivia Day! Here’s a piece of little known Edmond trivia for you: “On January 27 the noted aviatrix Amelia Earhart visited the campus of Central State and spoke to a crowded Mitchell Hall. The soft-spoken, slim-hipped flyer lightly answered questions as to what she would do if she were forced down at sea. A year and a half later her plane would vanish in the South Pacific, never to be heard from again.” - Taken From “Edmond – The First Century” by Stan Hoig, pg. 28. (Image from Ameliaearhart.com) #edmondok#nationaltriviaday
Hogwarts didn't always have bathrooms. Before adopting Muggle plumbing methods in the eighteenth century, witches and wizards simply relieved themselves wherever they stood, and vanished the evidence. #nationaltriviaday#fworldfamilyvaca

Q: What should I expect from my breast augmentation results? A: Dr. Schwartz helps his patients preview their outcomes in three ways: through a comprehensive library of before and after photographs; through advanced 3D imaging; and with the assistance of test implants you can stick under your shirt to view in the mirror.
I am glad that I have had the pleasure to meet and discuss current issues with @jennabeckler ! She has a great perspective on current events and topics about millennials in the work place. Thank you for sharing your words of wisdom. . . . Right out of college, I got my dream job at my dream company. How did I do it? By not settling and a lot of hard work. Today it is so easy to get lost in all the career advice, especially on campus. You can easily google “how to get a job” and find multiple articles with step by step instructions. Even if you follow every step, you are still not guaranteed a job. During my job search, I realized how important it is to get as much advice as you can and then make your own path. I read so many articles about Linked-In, resumes, and interviewing before I got my job. I also asked a lot of people to look at my resume and what career advice they had. I didn’t follow a cookie cutter plan to get hired, I made my own. I applied for jobs that I knew I wasn’t going to get just to practice applying for jobs before I found one that I actually wanted. By the time I applied for Nestle, I had gone through at least 10 applications. I’ve never seen that on a checklist. Honestly, there isn’t a perfect step by step plan to get your dream job or to be successful. What’s really important is to seek as much advice as you can from others, make the most out of every experience, and to work hard to get to where you want to be. . . . #millennials#instagood#nationaltriviaday#business#motivationalquotes#motivation#growthmindset#grow#growth#learn#entrepreneur#entrepreneurlife#entrepreneurship#entrepreneurquotes#millennials#generations#live#laugh#love#likeforfollow#photooftheday#happy#happynewyear#foodforthought#wednesday#wednesdaywisdom#wisdom#bestoftheday#amazing#awesome#movepast
