DJ Muggs Soul Assassins dia del asesinato Here is another DJ Muggs album that I had to collect most of if not 90% of the media that surrounded it. I think this is another game changer. Both the original and diamond edition we're completely on another level. I mean come on he's got MF Doom and Freddie Gibbs on one track. Among other amazing guest appearances. I give this album a 9 1/2 out of 10. That's included with the diamond edition. #djmuggs#soulassassins#hiphop#vinyl#vinylrecords#cds#compactdisc#tapes#cassettetapes#musiccollection
On this day, 23 years ago, Jay-Z released “Reasonable Doubt”. For the longest time this was my favorite Hov album. It was until a year or two ago that it switched to “The Black Album”. An incredible debut album by one of Hip Hop’s all-time greats. Who here has a favorite track? #rappinandsnackin

We've been making rocking music in the DMV for a while and we've met and performed with a lot of folks from in, around, and outside the region.🌎 We've made some memories and kept some mementos and now we are going to try to share them with you! Beginning with this 2011 release by Laurel, MD based Sanhedron 🎶. A blend of metal, hip-hop, and political intrigue, we believe Sanhedron's last show to date was Oct 2017 and the band is presently on hiatus. Feel free to update us if you know differently 😉
Sophie B. Hawkins - Tongues and Tails promotional CD (1992) . Today is George Michael's birthday. I already featured him this Pride Month, so today I'll showcase Sophie B. Hawkins instead. I briefly connected with Sophie last year when a company for whom I was working wished to license her "Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover." I no longer work with that company, as they owe me tens of thousands of dollars. I'll save that story for another post.
KISS. It finally happened - last night going thru security check at LAX, I was asked to step aside to have my carry-on luggage searched by one of the TSA agents. They finally wanted to know what that big suspicious mass was in my suitcase. The agent zipped open my luggage, pushed aside a layer of clothes, reached in and then asked, "VINYLS?" and I said, "Yes sir. Vinyl records" and I was good to go. For the past several trips to California to visit my folks' house, I've slowly been transporting the last remaining pieces of my record collection with me to Georgia. Unless there's a hidden stash somewhere else in the house (always a possibility) there is about of crate-full of records that have yet to make the trip from California to Georgia, and I can only take as much as will fit in my tiny carry-on luggage at any one time. Past couple of times I've been thru security there hasn't been a problem. This time around, I had a small stack of 10 - 11 records, along wirh a week's worth of dirty clothes (this was the record on top of the stack - look it up on YouTube for a treat) Anyways, not mad. Just amazed that they stopped me last night when I've had even more records in the same suitcase before. Also, I liked that the agent called them "vinyls".
