BE KIND TO YOURSELF✨ The last few days I’ve had to put this strategy in place so much more then I usually do. After hitting a low with getting a virus over the weekend I’ve had no other option then to rest. Look after my body and health is my number 1 priority...even though I do let it slide sometimes. 🤭🤷🏼♀️ It’s been 4 days since I’ve trained, and I’m definitely looking forward to getting back into it. 🏃🏼♀️

THREE MOVES TO COMPLETE DURING A SUNSET WALK 💫 During sunset walks I like to incorporate a few moves to help tone and strengthen my body. These are THREE moves I completed today that focus on the core and legs. MOVE 1 — complete a slow + controlled lunge then transition into a wide-legged sumo squat before lunging on the opposite side. MOVE 2 — plant your right foot on the ground. Slowly and with control spring off your left foot and tap the ground with your right hand. Keep your gaze a foot in front of your big toe planted on the ground. This will challenge your balance and stabilizer muscles, and requires tons of focus! MOVE 3 — keep your spine tall and neutral. Plant one foot on the ground with a one-inch bend in the knee. Lift the opposite leg up and down, lightly tapping the ground. Bend the leg an inch to add weight. For a *BONUS* challenge, keep your leg held at the top for 10 to 15 seconds. COMPLETE 2-3 times and do each move 8 to 15 times. Song: Not Ok by Chelsea Cutler and Kygo

As a whole, I’m trying to stop judging my days as “bad” or “good” and just accept that they just ARE. It feels like god is testing me lately and I’m just gonna accept that and keep on keeping on. Through everything- I’ll keep working and I’ll keep dreaming. Even when it seems like obstacles keep popping up- god’s just trying to see how great your faith & perseverance is. You have to work just as hard on the frustrating days as you do on the best days but the dream is COMING girl don’t lose faith. ✨🌈

Hey guys 🖐 after a long break I've decided its time to get my nutrition Instagram page up and running again. Some of the things ill be posting about will be in relation to holistic health including nutrition, lifestyle, how thoughts and beliefs can impact physical health and simple recipes that i have created (like these delicious cookies in the photo) . Ill also be talking about a few of my own experiences with my struggle with chronic illness, as there are so many of you out there who can relate , and im hoping that this can be another avenue of support for some of you. Some exciting things happening soon- I'll be creating a nutrition facebook page, and also be working on creating a health and nutrition ebook. Baby steps to reducing waste. 🌎 @messyvanny introduced me to these amazing thunder tea noodles that I never knew existed. They are delicious and vegetarian BUT come served in disposable-ware even when you eat in. 😭 However, they were really nice when I asked if they could serve them in my own @ikeasingapore glass container.
