Voici un ensemble de mouvements, qu’en moyenne, tu as appris entre les âges de 4 et 6 mois 👶🏾👧🏾 Si tu ne sais plus faire ça, tu comprends ce que je dis quand je répète souvent que le corps, moins tu l’utilise, plus tu le perds. 🔻 Rouler sur le sol est l’un des premier pallier pour le développement humain. C’est la première expérience qui bouge tout ton corps et continue de renforcer tes muscles, ton équilibre et ta coordination. C’est un grand pas dans ton développement sensoriel. Tu construit un sens interne de ton corps et comment tu peux déplacer tes parties pour atteindre un objectif. 🔻 👉🏾 Commence à rouler pour ré-apprendre la stabilisation de ta colonne vertébrale en utilisant ta tête, ton cou et tes yeux pour conduire ton mouvement. Après avoir développé des schémas de respiration appropriés, tu seras comme un serpent de nouveau 🐍 👉🏾 Rouler permet aussi d’exposer ta capacité à détendre certains muscles tout en utilisant d'autres, c’est pas une compétence que tu réussira à développer en smashant tes entraînement de CrossFit ou en allant bourriner à la salle… 🤫 👉🏾 Après, pour ceux qui se pensent confiant, osez rouler par terre devant d’autres gens et vous prouverez que vous vous moquer réellement du regard des autres. FLEXIBILITY VS. MOBILITY | ✖️Flexibility: The ability to reach maximum muscle length either in passive or active ROM. • ✖️Mobility: Same as above + the ability to motor control and coordinate under load (bodyweight being the first step under load). • ◾️ For example: Flexibility and help you reach a deeper squat however mobility will help you rise back up from a deep squat in proper form and technique without compromising/hitching. • A few comparisons: • ✖️Flexibility: benefits don’t remain long-term as it requires consistent stimulus (stretching). • ✖️Mobility: benefits are similar to strength gains, as improvements can linger on longer unless otherwise you stop mobility training altogether and slowly see a decline in mobility as with strength. • ✖️Flexibility: improvements are dependant upon time under tension (how long the stretch is held) and frequency performed (requires daily housekeeping to maintain new found flexibility). • ✖️Mobility: improvements can be enhanced through soft tissue therapy such as foam rolling, massage and arguably.... manipulation 🙊 (yes i went there). • ✖️Flexibility: not a recommended protocol for injury prevention i.e stretching before or after sessions of workouts, match, return to work etc... wont affect your chances of avoiding a ACL tear, hamstring tear, tendon rupture and low back pain etc... • ✖️Mobility: your go to injury prevention tool 👌🏽 • ✖️Flexibility: best performed AFTER a bout of physical activity whilst the muscles are warm. Therefore an effective cool down regime. • ✖️Mobility: best performed BEFORE a bout of physical activity to help with warming up the joint ROM. Pro Tip: has to be relevant to the exercise about to be performed therefore it should be a mimic of the real exercise. For example: performing high knee marching with hip externals and fire-hydrants (these are specific to the hip but the ankles and knees should be appropriately
