“Even though we aren’t enough in our own mind, we are enough in the mind of God. There is nothing that you can do, or have done, to ruin or fracture God’s love for you. There is no amount of striving or performing that will earn you more. Breathe freely and joyfully, and be refreshed. We will be women and moms who stand out because we live loved.” 🔥 -FIND YOUR FIRE-

This was yesterday. What can I say about this day? Really it feels like my life literally changed overnight. We woke up, fed the kids, got them dressed, and sent them out with backpacks, stuffed animals, and lunch boxes. My husband has officially started with his new job and our family is in massive transition. Yesterday we dropped off both our kids at full time school/day care. We have been so fortunate to have our kids home with us or with a care provider in our home for the last 3 years. This is the start of NEW. New job for Scott. New school and routine for kids. Some downtime for me to get things done and have office hours outside of the salon. We are so thankful to be here. 2018 was HARD. Scott was home full time with the kids while I worked full time. God is soooo good in answering prayers for us. We wanted to stay in Colorado Springs and God provided! We wanted to not go into debt while Scott stayed home, God provided! Lesson of 2018- GOD IS WORTHY OF OUR TRUST Start of 2019- GOD PROVIDES ABUNDANTLY This is us. This is our story. We are THANKFUL. To a year of Abundance. **gonna go cry now** . . . . . . . . . #gratitude#coloradosprings # coloradomama #coloradomom#firstdayofschool#preschool#preschoolmoms#mopsinternational#mops#breadwinner#scatterkindness#mindsetiseverything#diaryofaworkingwoman#coloradosprings#workingmom#workingmomlife
We don’t always love tummy time, but when we do, we prefer it with Llamas. • • • Real Mom Talk: Do you feel the pressure to talk enough, read enough, sing enough, play enough, stimulate your child’s brain enough on the daily? All while somehow fitting in feedings, diaper changes, nap-times, tummy time, bath-times (how many “time” activities are there anyways?) and MAYBE the same for yourself. I certainly do. These can be defined as basic activities, yet all together, occasionally seem overwhelming for this first time mom. I just want to give my baby the best opportunities for growth. For my newborn, this blanket has turned into our favorite tummy time “mat”—I’d like to think because of the additional stimulation of the Black & White contrast images, which she loves. But maybe it just makes me happy, which in turn allows me to positively engage with my baby girl. At the end of the day, I believe giving her love and positive emotions in any form is just as important for her development. Always remember to cut yourself some slack. You’re doing just fine mom. How do you encourage positive emotions for your newborn throughout the day? #realmomtalk

parenting isn’t for the faint of heart. it’s the hardest thing i’ve ever done. but in the words of rachel hollis we shouldn’t fear failure because you can’t fail at a job you were created to do. such an honor having these two come share today with our MOPs group and remind us of this truth.
do you set goals based on what YOU want or what you think others expect of you? . . tonight i get to teach my team how to reverse engineer their goals and develop a plan of action based on THEIR desired outcome! . . i love that this business holds an abundance of opportunity for growth, achievement and income . . putting on my teacher hat and training my tribe! . . what goals have you set for the year? . . . #visionvoard#goalgetter#goalsetting2019#mopsinternational#laurendaigle#runyourrace#fitandfulfilled
I had little to no motivation today, low energy, and overall just didn’t want to do this… But that’s when I need to do this all that much more. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It was really a struggle to get through it, as in it took me twice as long as it should have in about 300 pauses. But I’m so glad I did it anyway and I feel a million times better! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍
I love speaking to MOPs groups. It was a ministry that helped me survive (& even learn to appreciate!) the little years. I told them I was from the future and promised ridiculous things like full nights of sleep, children who can buckle themselves into the car, and going to the bathroom alone were on the horizon. We looked at what I believe is the most encouraging verse for moms. Need a #mopsinternational speaker in the Sacramento/Bay Area? Message me! #thisismotherhood#mops 📷: @nunestribe
I hate to admit this but every since baby #2 came along, my son has been watching WAY too much TV. Call it laziness, call it survival, either way I’ve been having some major mom guilt. To break this habit, we have been trying to spend the entire morning before his nap outdoors. I’m happy to report, he now hasn’t been asking to watch any TV!! Total mom victory, right?! #celebratethelittlewins

Motherhood is so many things....but most of all motherhood is easier when we do it together. Don't forget we have our meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 in the Sycamore Building at First Baptist Church of Umatilla!!
You do not even know what will happen tomorrow. Instead, you out to say, “ If it is the Lord’s will, we will love and do this or that.” James 4:14-15 How do you wake up most mornings? Do you use an alarm of some sort? Do you hit snooze once, twice, seven times? Do you lie in bed to “thaw out” for a few minutes or do you get right up? There are obviously many ways to wake up, but most of us probably lie in bed for a moment to orient ourselves. As you start the process of orienting yourself, do you begin to think about your day and all that is before you? Where do your thoughts go as your mind becomes alert? My answer is usually thinking about my TO DO LIST! We have a choice to make every day, every morning when we wake up. Will it be God or will it be self? Sometimes we wrongly imagine that we are in control of ourselves, our time and our future. Not one of us knows what will happened tomorrow... If you have children you are probably thinking more like, I never know what’s going to happens in the next 2 minutes! Or the amount of time it takes to go to the bathroom. 🤦🏻♀️ This season of motherhood is driving me CRAZY some days!!! 🥰 BUT I LOVE IT!!! Today’s hike was just what we needed after a weekend chillin at home. I’m thankful for my community of moms who can relate with me during this season of motherhood! #momsofinstagram#motivationmonday#momlife#momoffour#motherhood#community#dailydevotional#mopsinternational#sccmoutainmamas
I watched Dumplin’ on Netflix this weekend. It was one of those feel good movies, where there was Dolly Parton, drag queens, beauty queens, young love, tried and true friendships and an overall good message. This Dolly quote really struck me. How much of our lives do we spend NOT being ourselves, or worried we are “too much” for the people around us, or that we need to shrink into the background? Goal for this beautiful new week: be you, beautiful you ❤️
