Choc oats once again 🌚 Worked out I only have either chocolate oats or thick oats and yoghurt there is no in between🤷🏼‍♀️ Also having banana on pretty much all my oats since I bought a massive bunch and they’re ripening so fast with this heat 😂 so expect more bananas to come lol 🍌🍌 . Brekkie this morning was choc chia orange proats 🍊 topped with 1/2 banana, strawbs🍓3 Terry’s choc mini oranges 🍫 some milled flax seed/ granola + @sweetfreedomuk caramel syrup (which I’m nearly running out of 😭) . Breakfast 😆 often the forgotten meal of the day 😔.... and this is a real shame for lots of reasons, not least because it is such great meal to eat with friends when time allows.... I really got into breakfast when I lived in Germany. The Germans (well the ones I knew) were big fans of going out for breakfast and cafes were really geared up for this in a big way with SO many amazing options. This was over 16 years ago now (😱😱 - was about to write 10 but realised I’m actually older than that 😬🤣) before we really had it nailed in the UK. We do now thankfully!!! On a less sociable and exciting note, breakfast is essentially an opportunity to get ~1/3 your daily nutritional requirements in. Breakfast is (should be!) a big source of fibre, protein , good fats and vitamins so missing this means by default that it becomes more of a challenge to get nutritional reqs in within 2 meals. Yes, we snack but often this snacking is carb rich and not always that nutritionally valuable. So think of breakfast as fuel, get some good stuff into your body ; a protein source (eggs/tofu/Greek yog/fish...) with some good carbs (bread/muesli/ granola/buckwheat...) and some fats (nuts/seeds/avo..) and then some fruit or veggies to ramp up antioxidants vitamins and minerals plus adding colour and texture. Mix it up, keep it simple but whatever you do.... eat some breakfast! Mezclar todos los ingredientes, os quedará una textura espesa, con el Aceite de coco se hará más sólida. 2. Staying Consistent in the gym can be very hard sometimes! 🏋️ 🏃‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When we first start a goal (this is why a lifestyle is always a win over a short term weight-loss goal) we are so excited and on point. 🦸 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So excited we are most likely doing too much and pushing ourselves past what we can realistically sustain. 😪 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Consistency is the biggest obstacle for most of us! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are a few ways to stay consistent: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🎯 make sure you are doing what you realistically can!  If you set a goal to workout every day but 3 times is what makes sense based on your schedule and time, then you are setting yourself up to fall short.  You don't need to go to the gym every day, especially if you can't! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🎯 Add non-exericse movement into your day every day!  Did you know 10,000 steps is about 1 hr and 40 mins of movement?  So during your day get moving!  I help clients and members with this which helps a ton with your body goals! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🎯 Don't start working out like you are training for olympics if you haven't been exercising!  You can't go from barely moving to excessive exercise and think you are going to embrace that.  It's about progression.  Your body will thank you and you will be more consistent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I ended up dreading workouts because I was working out so excessively.  I had to find my mojo again.  This included not working out every day and doing workouts that were efficient but effective. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is the basis of my workouts in VIBE!  Efficient and effective! Any kind of Supplements you hear of are meant to aid your nutrition and in no way replace natural food. The word itself says so.✔️ If you can consume your required proportions of nutrients and macros from your organic diet/meals/food items, then there is absolutely no need for any extra products to be consumed, which are sold in the name of workout essentials.🙅 In case you are not able to do so, then these supplements come in handy. 🤘 (Side note- These things are there to ease your life when you have no time or you're in no mood to cook, meal prep, plan in advance or lazy in general.💤) . Whey Protein, Isolate, BCAA, Pre-workouts or any other workout supplements are just there to act as a catalyst to your otherwise normal food intake. If you can get the essentials from unprocessed food or home cooked meals, you should definitely consider those first, put in comparison because there's nothing more pure than what you know is put into the final product. 💫 . Like black coffee alongwith a handful of nuts work wonders as your pre-workout. Similarly eating protein throughout the day in every meal ensures you eat your minimum requisite without having to depend on protein shakes. Our next #retreat date is June 6th-13th 2020. Book your space for early bird discount.  It was only just over four weeks ago that we took a group of complete strangers to our Yoga and Wellbeing Cookery retreat to #dalyan -#turkey  We returned back home as one big happy family. How these souls had gathered and been drawn to an experience was always an act of grace to watch and experience. Together we created a grounded and loving group. Soulful, kind, wise and open.  As for an organiser, The energy of a group is a fascinating experience to watch the group as it grows and flourishes through the week spreading its colours of rainbow creating love and stronger friendships. I personally have learnt that Human beings do not like to be fixed. The soul is already complete. But we can be sweepers of anything that is no longer necessary. Preparing a space for magic and beauty to be known.  We all live in a chaotic world, where mid has no rest and unfortunately we are never taught to use the "pause button". During the #retreat way, the idea is to create a space where  one is attuned to the absolute and falls deep down into the soft and earthy flow of reality, the heart is so happy. The journey is not so much a personal thing, but a collective feeling. It is not so much about a personal feeling either, but a deeper knowing of being home here, together to make a difference.  The people we work with, the space we chose and those who came on board all learnt how to create a clear and open enough space within ourselves to learn how to use this body as a vehicle for life’s energy. This energy is not contaminated by the mind or by any structure we may appose upon it. The reason there is always a sense of possibility is because we never know exactly how or why we are being used. We are participating in the mystery directly and that  was the purpose of our retreat.  But if we are grounded and present, clear and open, this energy can flow down into creation, through our energy field
We’ve all been there right?! I know I certainly have. Diet culture tells us we should feel “guilty” for enjoying that piece of pizza, cake, wine *insert food demonised by the diet culture police here*. It tells us we should be jumping back on the diet wagon first thing Monday morning and we should “be better” this week.  Food is a key part of socialising -especially if you’re a foodie like me! It is not something we should ever feel guilty about. No matter what you ate over the weekend, restriction is never the answer.  You don’t need to “be better” or “feel bad” -although it’s bloody hard to escape the dieting mentality when it’s reinforced everywhere!  Instead of jumping on another lonely, dieting train why not focus on setting some positive goals for the week instead? Stuff that will make you feel good & that you actually want to achieve. I’ll tell you what I’m focussing on this week 👇🏻 1. Reading for 30mins before bed -tech free! 2. Aiming to add add an extra veggie into my meals #variety 3. Moving my body in ways that feel good, a yoga class, HIIT workout or a walk.  I like to focus on what I can ADD into my life that will make me feel good rather than REMOVING things. There are many parts in my puzzle. Bringing them all together makes it a lot easier to go this way.  Unnecessary weight drops, more energy is generated. As a magnet I start pulling people. The whole world looks different. Lighter, and not so angry.  So sleep:  Relaxes both the body and the brain.  The main impulse for hormones health.  Slows down the pulse, resting all the Cardio system.  Sleep directly affects your appetite, because when you sleep regularly, the feeling of hunger decreases.  And most importantly, it gives more happiness. After all, sleeplessness is a feeling of exhaustion, tension and frustration. This results in mood swings, overeating or even depression.  Let's be asleep. We will make the right decisions, we will be more active, more communicative, we will see a different world.  And yet ... after all, we do not eat anything we sleep 😊  How long do you sleep? 🔸Bevanda di semi di canapa e sesamo🔸  L'ennesimo lunedì grigio di questa strana primavera e per me l'unico modo per iniziarlo al meglio è una tazza bella abbondante di caffè e latte caldo, quello autoprodotto che vi avevo mostrato sabato nelle storie.  Più volte mi sono chiesta se valga la pena autoprodurre e le risposte che mi sono data sono sempre state contrastanti. Badate bene, non trovo ci sia nulla di male e nessun motivo di vergognarsi ad acquistare prodotti già pronti (magari dando prima uno sguardo rapido all'etichetta); per giunta sarei ipocrita se vi dicessi che qui a casa si mangia sempre e solo 100% autoprodotto, sano, bio e sostenibile.  Credo però che valga la pena fare da sè per quanto possibile per tante ragioni e vi posso dare le mie. Autoprodurre per me significa riprendere contatto con il cibo, vuol dire poter scegliere cosa consumare e come, permette spesso di avere più qualità e varietà ad un prezzo inferiore e, la cosa più importante, regala  grandissime soddisfazioni! Trovo sempre sbalorditivo vedere come spesso si possano ottenere grandi risultati con pochi ingredienti e semplici gesti... Una volta stabiliti quali, in effetti. 😓  Oggi vi racconto come preparo questo "latte" vegetale. È un procedimento estremamente semplice ed è una delle mie ricette preferite quando mi ritrovo senza nulla di pronto oppure ho scordato di mettere in ammollo la frutta secca la sera prima. Occorrono 5 minuti di numero ed il risultato è delizioso! Questa ricetta è solo una base che può essere poi arricchita con i dolcificanti o gli aromi che preferite: sciroppo d'acero o agave assieme ad un pizzico di vaniglia renderanno tutto incredibilmente gradevole. 𝗜𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁...⁣ ⁣ Sometimes even the perfectly laid plans don’t quite work out how you hoped.⁣ ⁣ Dorja and I got up at 5am yesterday morning with the intention of driving down to County Durham for my cousin’s little boy’s Christening.⁣ ⁣ We got as far as the fourth road bridge when the car lost all power.⁣ ⁣ We trundled as far as we could before pulling into North Queensferry park and ride waiting for assistance.⁣ ⁣ We then spent the best part of 8 hours...⁣ ⁣ Walking, napping, making vlogs pretending we were some kind of Bear Grylls characters stuck in the wilderness...⁣ ⁣ We sang and we did impressions...and tbh just went a bit loopy.⁣ ⁣ After 8 hours Dorja started to feel unwell, so I made the call to get the bus home.⁣ ⁣ Eventually I got a phone call for someone to tow the car back.⁣ ⁣ After a frustrating day we made it home, rustled together some proper food and binged watched the rest of 13 Reasons Why.⁣ ⁣ So...big take aways...⁣ ⁣ 1. Doesn’t matter how organised you are...always prepare to have a spanner thrown into the works. ⁣ Try to adjust to the new situation, if you can’t control the situation don’t waste your time getting in a tizzy.⁣ ⁣ This is definitely applicable to your training and nutrition.⁣ ⁣ 2. If I’m going to get stranded anywhere for 8 hours, there’s no person I’d rather do it with.⁣ ⁣  We have a wedding to go to in 12 weeks, fingers crossed we make that family get together 🤞🏼⁣ ⁣ Wishing you a successful Monday.⁣

I used to live on flapjacks in my early 20’s when my weight stayed stable (I was overweight but it didn’t go up or down for the longest time). But of course it became I diet fear factor. I found these bars in @homebargains after searching for a brand I used to get but seems to have vanished from the high street 🤷🏼‍♀️. La scorsa settimana vi avevo anticipato che vi avrei svelato un segreto a proposito di PANCAKE e preparati con l’albume in generale ➡️ se FRULLATE o MONTATE l’albume insieme alla stevia e poi incorporate gli ingredienti secchi amalgamando dal basso verso l’alto (oppure con le fruste elettriche a velocità 1 e sempre nello stesso verso), la SOFFICITÀ che otterrete sarà s-u-p-e-r❗️ . . Intanto vi lascio la ricetta di questa golosità (✅ GLUTENFREE)👇🏻 • 100ml albume bio @coop • 1cucchiaio stevia • 20gr farina di grano saraceno integrale • 5gr proteine del riso + 5gr proteine del pisello @nu3_fit (o 10gr farina di ceci/soia) • 10gr farina di mandorle • 1cucchiaino bicarbonato+limone • Cannella • Aroma alla vaniglia • 1 pesca schiacciata con la forchetta + 1cubetto cioccolato fondente spezzettato (per me l’immancabile @alcenerobiologico 100% cacao 😍) 👇🏻 Montate a neve l’albume insieme alla stevia, incorporate gli altri ingredienti secchi poco per volta mescolando dal basso verso l’alto per non smontare l’albume, alla fine aggiungete il bicarbonato spremendoci sopra qualche goccia di limone, amalgamate, ed infine unite pesca+ciok, mischiando nuovamente il tutto.  Fate cuocere in un pentolino antiaderente sporcato con un filo d’olio evo, a fiamma bassa, 10’ dal primo lato e altri 3’ dal lato opposto.  Come 👉🏻 topping ho utilizzato la composta di pesche Achillea 100% frutta aromatizzata con cannella e la buonissima CREMA DI MANDORLE BIANCHE @fiordiloto1972 ❣️ . Simple Avocado Toast!🥑 I had this for breakfast on Saturday, it was so delicious and pretty healthy!💪🏻 It would've been even healthier if I had used brown/wholemeal bread!🍞On the toast, I added Avocado (obviously!😂), a squeeze of lime, some salt, pepper, and then some chia seeds!😍 I added some cashews on the side because they are a wholefood and are really good for you! Mondays are tough to swallow 🙀, so let’s  water it down by walking down memory lane back to when I used to visit my granny who used to always serve ice cold orange blossom water in summer!!, So, why don’t we make the taste of water more appealing by adding a few drops of orange blossom ( found in most groceries/supermarkets- the image is a lovely product from Egypt 🇪🇬 ) making each sip a nostalgic treat vs. thirst quenching with sodas; artificially sweetened beverages or even fresh fruit juices that may play havoc with your insulin levels... wanna be a bit creative: 1. Fill tall glasses of ice halfway full with lemonade. 2. Add 1/2 teaspoon orange blossom water to each glass then top with a few ounces of sparkling water. 3.
