As much of an update as I have: Ainsley’s lab results came back negative for blood! 🙌🏼 . That’s the extent of my information. I was told that I needed to speak to her GI doctor regarding where we go from here... and that was on TUESDAY. . I have left 3 messages. I got one return phone call that I missed because I was cooking and my phone was on vibrate 😩 I called back 5 seconds later and they were ‘closed’ for the day... so I left a FOURTH message. . I hope to begin the reintroduction of some foods this week. We are 95% sure that the main problem was a milk protein and soy allergy... but I want to make sure I go about this the right way when it comes to reintroducing the potential allergy foods. . Hopefully, I get a call back on Monday 🤷🏽♀️ . Swipe for smile 😃 . #refluxbaby#silentreflux#milkallergy#dairyintolerance#babyupdate#babygirlnumbertwo#allergymom
🦃 Thanksgiving ProTip #3: BYOT 👉 You are in control. We are thankful for the DELICIOUS foods we CAN eat. Don't be psyched out by food allergy stress. 💆 Relax and savor all of your special meal. Tell your host ahead of time that you plan to Bring Your Own Turkey. We can't control what others put in their food. As much as we wish family understood, they often don't get the implications of what it means to have a food allergy. Or what it feels like. Or the fear every unsafe food brings every time your child reaches for something that looks familiar or is unlabeled. I am proud that my 3-year old asks if there is nuts or sesame in new foods, but it wasn't always like that. Family gatherings were challenging, and at times hard to enjoy. "Oh just give her a little bit, how bad could it be?" Bringing her favorite grub made things easier, and she felt special. Just in case, Always Take 2 injectors with you! I hope you all can have a (kinda) relaxed Thanksgiving too!
Fancied some #lasagna tonight and was mad to see what Sally made of this Italian classic so decided to put together a #vegan version. Used some @naturli vegan mince and got a simple and tasty recipe for the vegan #beschamel sauce from @lovingitvegan. Threw some #avocado, red pepper #hummus and salad on the side and it was a big hit in the house. 100% #dairyfree and damn right delizioso 🇮🇹😋
