Busy day today. Had a meeting this evening at a restaurant. I had chicken fried rice and only ate 1/2 and boxed up the rest. Breakfast and lunch was the usual, iced coffee and a half of a protein bar. My snack was a simply Cheetos puffs. My net calories for the day was about 700. I climbed stairs at lunch and when I got home I did my 3 challenges and made up a one. I went to the gym for the first time in over a month. 😬 I've been working out, but just doing stuff at home or going on walks when the weather is nice. But I realized today I've been avoiding the gym 😅 I use my University gym and you can use it during the summer for free as long as you're talking summer classes. I am, but I'm taking classes that don't start until next month so I wasn't sure if I could use the gym free of charge. I could have found out whether I could over a month ago... So when I realized that I was not going to get a workout in at home or be able to go on a walk outside (weather) I decided to stop avoiding it.  Turns out I could have been coming to the gym all this time 😅 I'm pretty sure the pictures show it pretty well, but I got a pretty great sweat session in and it felt amazing! 💪🏻

#transformationtuesday I hated shopping for clothes when I was at my highest weight. I LOVE clothes and keeping up with fashion as best I can and it was always so frustrating when clothes I would pin on Pinterest or try on in store didn’t fit me well, or they fit but I didn’t like my body in it. More than one tear has been shed on a dressing room that’s for sure. I remember when LulaRoe came out I needed the fall and curvy, and I refused to buy myself tall and curvy. I waited until i lost 20 lbs and could fit into regular OS. Like I wasn’t allowed to have cute leggings until I lost weight. 😒One of my favorite things about being at a lower weight is I am able to wear fashionable clothes and not feel self conscious. One of my insta besties @ashleys_officially_lost_it ‘s latest transformation Tuesday focuses on clothes she didn’t allow herself to wear until she hit her goal size. For me, clothing was a huge motivator in my weight loss. When I was heavier, everything I wore was loose because Duh people can’t see I’m fat in leggings and a tunic right!? I wish I could go back and tell that girl she is allowed to have confidence. You are allowed to wear Pinterest inspired outfits even if you don’t look like the models. Unfortunately I didn’t find that confidence until I was well into my weight loss journey. I encourage you to buy cute outfits that make you feel good. Even if you aren’t at your goal weight. Because you need to feel good at every size. You are worthy at any size. And ROCK IT with your head held high. The better you treat yourself in all situations, the more likely you are to remain consistent, on track, and goal orientated on this journey. Because at the end of the day this is who we are doing it for. Ourselves. No one else. Us. • todays food • breakdown below • I haven’t calorie counted today I didn’t find it necessary. I don’t have a limit in mind at the minute I’m just trying to go off what my body is telling me. I didn’t need to eat the milka brownie, that I do regret. It wasn’t even like it was a mad craving that I needed to satisfy. So I am disappointed in myself for that. But very happy with everything else. I will continue this week not counting and just see how I feel, trying to use my own judgement and general knowledge of average calorie content. I’m going for a meal on Thursday and then a bbq on Saturday so those two days will both be more relaxed again. But I’m just in a good place where I don’t need the scale to be dropping 4lbs a week to be happy. I know that even only losing 1-2 lbs a week is still progress in the right direction and it’s more sustainable too. I’m in absolutely no rush with this, but at the same time I do need to continue practicing control. My aim is to slowly cut down on my daily intake more and more as time goes on. - - Honey nut shredded wheat + 100ml milk - Coconut green tea - Half tub of chicken curry soup - Small Orange - Milka brownie - Wholemeal pasta + chicken sausage, broccoli & jerk sauce - Chai latte + 30ml milk • exercise • - 60 mins walking - 20 min full body HIIT workout (YouTube) - 10 min core & cardio HIIT workout (YouTube)
