I need to work on this. I want SO bad for Kyler to feel the pain and the helplessness of broken consent, but he never will. No matter how many times I bring up perfectly valid points, he shuts it down and acts like I'm the one who fucked up in all this like NAH. You're the broken one. You did things and said things that were so completely toxic you almost had me scared into submission of accepting the responsibility of everything YOU did wrong. Everything you'll claim you "shouldn't have to feel bad about" when we were on and off again unofficially up until about oh, 6 months ago. You fucked a guy, couldn't own up to it and broke my trust by continuing to sleep with me. So not really sure how that's me being wrong but hey. It is what it is. . . . However, I'm tired of constantly being emotionally upset about this. Yes, none of this was fair and you owe me a SERIOUS apology, but I know I'll never hear it. You'll never be wrong and you'll never see your flaws so I'm left with forgiving you. Not for you- but for me. I've carried this toxic bullshit with me for FAR TOO LONG to be willing to hold resentment towards you any longer. It's done nothing for me other than break my heart, cause mental issues, and steal my time from me. But this is the end of that. This is where I forgive you and rid myself of your energy for good. Thank you for the memories, lessons, and time to grow, but I think it's a good time to allow you to drown in your own toxicity. I refuse to keep allowing what you did to hold me down anymore. I'm not mad. I don't get even. I'm just....done. Didn’t have much time to make it look pretty because I had to leave the house at 7.15 to go to London! ———————————————————— So yesterday wasn’t a great day as the nurse I saw at CAMHS just completely invalidated me instead of taking anything seriously 😑And I get that he was probably trying to normalise things to make things seem better to me but he got it very wrong...rule one of mental health care: don’t tell someone that ‘it’s ok, everyone gets thoughts of killing themselves sometimes’. Just. Don’t. Do. It!! ———————————————————— (PTW?) So, of course, I was really triggered by all his comments and wanted so badly to restrict again and because I was so rushed this morning, my mind kept screaming at me that I don’t need breakfast and I know I could get away with not eating lunch...but where will that get me? Things in life either move so slow or speed past your eyes. Mental health and recovery can be like this but it’s more likely that it’ll move slow. Don’t l let yourself give up hope, we’re all taking things step by step and taking time with it and that’s how it should be. If recovery flies by in the blink of an eye you tend to miss a lot of things that are essential in recovery. Recovery takes time so don’t beat yourself up over it. Live life to the fullest everyday, step by step. One day and one step at a time. 💕🙏🏼

In fact, it IS: • - not having the physical/mental strength to do anything (even a shower can be tiring!). It is not having strength to take care of yourself, let alone be there for others. • - similar to tending to a particular part of the body/organ when you have a physical injury. You need to tend to your mental illness. • - an illness which is unfortunately invisible. Because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it does not exist. • - more than sadness. I’m feeling blank. I have written like 10 captions and I’m not happy with any of them. I don’t know what to write. . “I don’t know” . I hear this a lot with clients. It used to irritate me a little. I felt like I had asked the wrong question or not worded it properly. I felt embarrassed and blamed myself. . I worked on this and realised that it’s ok for clients (& me) to not know. To be unsure, confused, lost. I began to hold them in their not knowing and tried to understand what it felt like. . The answer “I don’t know” actually says a lot. It is a response to be explored not ignored. . So it’s ok to not know. To be disconnected from yourself. You are worthy of being held in that. ✨💫

This reminder makes me appreciate how far i’ve come in my journey of self care 💚 There would be times where I would give into my harsh, intense emotions - creating this negative and unhealthy relationship with my own image through my eyes - which is pretty trash. With all of the good there is in the world, how can it be so easy to fall under this toxic filter? What about those days where it seems like the bad can only happen.. Guess what boo, it’s all mindset! I’m not going to say that adjusting your mindset to overcome rough times of your day to day life just happens overnight! That’s unrealistic (if it wasn’t, i’d tell u hahaha). What is realistic though - is to start being self aware. Be aware of how u want to rewire ur thoughts on yourself and the world around u. You can start by switching negative thoughts about yourself into positive ones. If you catch yourself just casually thinking something that isn’t positive about your beautiful self - u better drop it and replace it with a bo$$ thought. Once you catch yourself time and time again, it won’t be a question. By practicing self-awareness, it will transition ur reaction from urself to others around you. We all start somewhere, don’t expect results or certain emotion to be shifted drastically after a day - #practicemakesperfect !!!! This is self care. Practicing self-awareness - is SELF CARE!! You are so capable of it. Create your intentions in the most geniune way, and your results will be given back so unconditionally. Anyone who has met me is aware of my love for Dr Phil 😍😂😂😂 love him or hate him, the man knows his shit. After watching ma boiiii (too far?) talk with Oprah about how to rewire our thought process, I made this little photo collage and wanted to talk a little bit about unhelpful thoughts and how to objectively work through and reframe such thoughts.  We as humans have this amazing ability to think about our thoughts. This is called parallel processing and no other species is able to do this. This means that we can separate ourselves from our thoughts and discern what is helpful/healthy and what is not. .  This is crucial, as in order to live well, we need to start examining our thinking, values & beliefs. We must remain vigilant about believing everything we think; remember our feelings are not facts.  When negative thoughts arise, I encourage you to work through the following questions: 🦋 is the thought a true fact? 🦋does the thought serve your best interest? 🦋 is the thought affecting your health? 🦋 does the thought get you what you want, need and deserve? .  Typically a negative or self doubting thought will mandate an answer of “no” to all of the above questions. This is a good indication that what you’re thinking is based on unhelpful thinking patterns and you can readjust your perspective accordingly based on more helpful thinking patterns. This will hopefully assist in providing an improved outlook and a more realistic perspective 💞

𝓬𝓮𝓷𝓪 [9:27𝑝𝑚] 18/04/19 • - Pᴏʀᴏᴛᴏs Bʟᴀɴᴄᴏs🥣 + Cᴀʀɴᴇ🍖 ᴄᴏɴ Cʜɪʟᴇ🌶 + Tᴏᴍᴀᴛᴇ🍅 + Qᴜᴇsᴏ Fʀᴇsᴄᴏ • 😫 estoy harta de esta enfermedad llegué a mi casa después de un rato muy agradable con mis amigas, todo excelente, pero llega mi familia y me pregunta por la cena😣 terminé de comer a las 5:30 y luego me ofrecieron dulces a eso de las 7:20, llegué a mi casa a las 8, estaba super llena🥴 luego mi mamá va y dice “yo no tengo hambre, no cenaré” [ella comió con el resto de mi familia a las 2:30/3pm] 😖 me dieron unas ganas enormes de gritar “y crees que yo tengo hambre? crees que puedo darme el lujo de decir -hoy no cenaré porque comí bastante bien-?” no😔 salí corriendo de ahí sin dar respuesta alguna, me encerré en el baño como por 20minutos, ¿a qué? a llorar😞 y lo peor del caso, en realidad ni sabía por lo que estaba llorando, me sentía fuera de control, no quería comer, pero al mismo tiempo me dije “no, demuéstrales que podrás llegar a un peso saludable, no el mínimo, que puedes recuperar tu regla, podrás ser una chica normal, y saltarse alguna comida será algo que pase a un nivel menor” así que fui a la cocina, y calenté esto ahora mismo me siento un tanto culpable, ¿por qué? porque comí “tarde” y cené a la misma hora🙄 entienden ese grado de ridiculez?🤦🏻‍♀️ ni siquiera siento culpa por los postres que me dieron, el helado, la coyota, los dulces... luego aquí después de la cena comí frutos secos y banana con mantequilla de cacahuate🤨 fue algo de lo que traía antojo, y me lo permití, banana en la noche, como postre, aún así sintiéndome super culpable, no me lo negé😶 mañana tendré un viaje familiar, me despertaré a las 6am y desayunaremos a eso de las 9am, comeremos algo, no tengo bien claro qué, y llegaremos a mi ciudad a cenar, no haré todas mis comidas😖 y eso, para mi es el fin del mundo,
