Player Analysis 1: Kyrie Irving - Kyrie has often been one of the most commonly debated ranked players in this era. Some people have him Top 10, while others have him barely in their top 30. Skip Bayless even said Kyrie was in his top 5 a while back. - 22.7 PPG, 6.4 APG, 4.8 RPG, 1.6 SPG, .489 FG%, .397 3PT%, .854 FT% - His stats makes it look like he’s a poor man’s Steph Curry, which is true but misleading, since anyone that plays like Steph is basically a poor man’s Steph as no one can do what he can. - Brad Stevens, your already an all time-great coach, but if you want my advice, rest Kyrie more. Give him more minutes in the games he plays but 1/7-8 games or so, rest him. - OffRat on 0 days of rest: 103.5 OffRat on 1 day of rest: 116.9 OffRat on 3 days of rest: 120.2 OffRat on 4 days of rest: 126.2 (OffRat on 2 days of rest is 105.5, didn’t add it in cause it doesn’t help my point but neutrality so...) - The difference between a 103.5 OffRat and 126.2 is insane. Now obviously this can’t become a habit, just against the teams that are inter-conference and out of the playoffs. I’d start Rozier in his place to try to get his confidence back but if he continues to struggle, Stevens is gonna go for the win and the logical option would be Smart, or Hayward (fingers crossed) if he’s fully recovered and back to his old self by than. - Kyrie also has gotten much better of a defender under Brad Steven’s system, living up to the defensive potential he showed in the 2016 Finals. Closing Statement, THAT BOY HAS THE BEST DAMN HANDLES I HAVE EVER SEEN‼️👀 - - - #nba#nbanews#lebron#la#warriors#lakers#kd#steph#boogie#nbarumours#ballislife#ball#ball4theculture#pg13#lonzo#lamelo#melo#thunder#kingjames#nbamix#nbaplayers#hoops#vincecarter#allstar#allstarvote#klay#draymond
It took me forever to decide who'd I take, it's a toss up in my opinion. At first I thought 2012 in 7, and that came down to Bird just being older on his last leg. But then I realized the miss matches down low.. Ewing/Robinson/Malone would absolutely shred Chandler/Love/AD in the paint (AD was 19 at the time). So with that conclusion I'd take 1992 in a super close game 7. Side note : watching Jordan and Bryant go at it would be absolute 🔥!
