Physical touch is grounding for me. It’s a way for me to drop out of the chaos of my thoughts and root down into my present. It’s also one of my love languages. Sitting back to back in meditation with C today was powerful for both of us. I was able to feel her warmth, breath, support, and heartbeat. I visualized both of us releasing all that we had been holding onto that wasn’t ours to carry and letting it flow down our spines, through our roots, and down into Mother Earth, who graciously accepted all that we were shedding and filled those spaces with warmth and light. I’ve been talking a lot lately about how I’m in a good place, but I work hard every day to be here. This is a part of that work. Connor, I’m so thankful for your unwavering presence in my life, and for the opportunity to do this work right alongside you. I love you ✨

🗣 Family patterns are the hardest patterns to break, most of the time they can go back decades and decades. Take a look around you and reflect on your trauma, pain and childhood. Has someone ever told you “you sound just like your mom” or “you will never amount to anything like your dad” this is the call to break the cycle. Let go of everything you’ve learned and endured and heal yourself find a new way of living. Ask yourself is this what I want my life to be? Now shake it off, cut the cords and heal yourself so you can come into your new life. It won’t be easy, and maybe your friends and family won’t follow but all you can do is heal your life and pray others choose the same... but please remember our only job is to heal ourself and make sure our cup is full so we can pour onto others. 🗣🦋💕
