047 When was the last time you’ve tried something new? Journaling is kind of new to me. It was a great advice from the therapist when I was done with my sessions. Jer wanted me to start earlier but meditating and therapy, all was new to me... Writing is a way of thinking. Putting my thoughts on paper, allows me to slow down and watch my mind. On the paper one can share more than would with other person. It gives me an opportunity to create myself. Give a time to observe and decide without rush. If your life is worth living, it is worth recording it as well :) Kedy som naposledy skúsila niečo po prvýkrát? Začala som písať denník...ale to je asi blbé pomenovanie. Nepíšem ho každý deň. Po nejakom čase dam na papier dôležité udalosti, momenty, ciele, plány, myslienky. Čokoľvek čo sa deje v mojej hlave. K čomu je to vôbec dobré? Presvedčenie začať tento nový zvyk prišlo na poslednej hodine terapie. Keď som bola pripravená spoľahnúť sa na tvoje rozhodnutia a myšlienky. Písanie denníka je istý spôsob premýšľania. Dať to na papier mi umožňuje spomaliť a pozorovať myseľ. Môžem napísať všetko lepšie než by som to niekomu bola ochotná úprimne povedať. Môžem byt sama sebou a zároveň kým chcem byť. Mám viac času pozorovať moje myslienky a rozhodnutia vytvárať z väčšej perspektívy bez unáhlenia. This week I’ve been really anxious, doing my best to breathe through and listen to my body while my mom reminds me that the full moon is coming & I always feel particularly restless this time of month. Yesterday called for a long afternoon walk in the woods with my pup. I sat quietly with her on my lap, listening to all of the sounds surrounding me. Several minutes later, opening my eyes to the grey sky and overcast sun glistening on the water. I looked up repeating softly, “I release”, letting the words float into the wind. I release guilt. I release anger. I release pain. I release responsibility for feelings & emotions that aren’t mine. I release trying too hard to prove myself. I release the need to know what’s going to happen next. I journaled and took photos and let Ming happily explore. I soaked it all in. I’m grateful that the weather was warm enough to go on our adventure. Grateful to have her by my side to share it with. Grateful to take time in nature to ground myself. • Anxiety can feel overwhelming & suffocating at times. It’s remembering that it’s temporary and connecting to what real. Being in the present moment as opposed to the story in your head. What do you need? Take care of yourself, always. Yesterday I blended my daily salad variation with tomatoes and created this delicious, raw, chilled, Gazpacho soup. It was perfectly matched to the Spring-like, weather we have in London at the moment. 🌾 So thankful for the massive trees in my neighbourhood that attract birds & filter air around my windows. The birds have been singing like crazy for the last few days, starting about 4am. Of course its brilliant background music for meditation & reconnecting to source. Listening to nature isn't so easy in a big city, full of constant man-made noise and it's still possible. Shoutout to all the early risers, that get up, to tune in, shut out, realign, reconnect, pray, centre, level up, manifest & meditate before dawn. Have a blessed weekend! 🌹
