It is FINISHED!!! This pen turned out so Awesome. Every time I look at it, I'm just WOWed with how some scrap wood can be so cool. Look for a video on Thursday on my YouTube channel to see the full process of it being made. • • #scrapwood#wow#beautiful
This mug received something we always aim for around here - Pneuma’s approval 😂 the real reason this glaze is our favorite is because it matches our gal’s eyes so well and is there anything prettier than a husky’s blue eyes? 💙
#marchmeetthemaker day 23: top tip or advice. I try to learn as much as I can with everything I'm doing, but like with everything there's a lot of things you have to go through or do to learn. My top pieces of advice are: -Just make, I don't think that I could call myself a maker if I wasn't making, and I know I certainly don't learn anywhere near as much by reading about things, compared to actually doing them, if you want to get better, do the things you want to get better at. -Design things well, I think designing things thoroughly can help the level of projects so much, without coming up with the coolest less you can and developing them, you can't end up with the best thing you can make. -Take time to enjoy the process, there's no point in working so hard that you forget why you love what you're doing. -Experiment and challenge yourself through making, the best projects often come when you really try to make things that are out of your comfort zone or are so innovative that you really have to think about how to do them. Everyone's creative journey is different but I think there so much that you can learn from seeing what others do, that's why I think things like meet the makers are so useful to other makers, it lets you glimpse into how other people overcome the challanges that you face and let's you decide how you will approach your making in order to get it to the best level you can and enjoy it all the time.
