On good days workout, on bad day workout harder. It wouldn't be one of my workouts without a finisher. My favorite upper body finisher, the ropes. I love that last exercise of my workout to be something that I put out every last ounce of effort and energy left in me. If you train with me you know I always finish our session with a metabolic finisher. Whether it be ropes, sled pushes, sprints or specific body part finishers. It's not only a workout for your physical fitness but also your mental fitness as well. Nothing toughens you up mentally like pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and past what you thought was all you could do. Still currently accepting in person and online clients. Quick HIIT treadmill intervals! Ok, as good as running makes me feel (after) I avoid cardio as much as possible 😂 So if you’re anything like me, this is something you may enjoy to keep that heart healthy! I used to be scared posting pictures of my progress. Why? I truthfully cannot tell you. Maybe due to the fear of people judging me? Regardless of what it was, overcoming that fear has felt SO good and even if there are still people judging me, to hell with them!!! I am now 7 weeks in to Keto!! I’m going to answer some questions I’ve been getting about keto⬇️⬇️ . 🍃What is keto? It’s a high fat, high protein, low carb, low sugar diet. My diet consists of 65% fat, 30% protein, and 5% carbs. . 🍃How do you track what you’re eating? I use the MyFitnessPal app, it’s super easy and self explanatory and I don’t track every day! . 🍃What does keto do? Ketosis occurs when your body does not have access to its primary fuel source, glucose (sugar). It basically forces your body to rely on fat for energy rather than carbohydrates, so fat stores are broken down instead. . 🍃Why am I doing keto? I did a “bulk” over winter. I was lifting A LOT, not doing much cardio, and eating a lot more than I normally would. I wanted to not only use it to “cut” but I wanted to try something new and challenge myself. Started keto about 7 weeks ago and I’m really enjoying it. I don’t crave sugar or bread unless someone is eating it right in front of me. I love trying new things and finding different diets/healthy lifestyles that work for me! . 🍃How long are you supposed to do keto for? That’s really up to you!! I know people who have done it for a few years and I know people who do it for a few months. If you like it and it works for you keep going! If you hate it and you’re not feeling any different, try something new! I don’t know how long I’ll do it for and it’s not a long term lifestyle for me. Eventually I will incorporate carbs (gluten free) back in to my diet but I’ll definitely be more mindful when I’m eating!
