Today marks the 6 year anniversary of the #sandyhookelementary#schoolshooting, in #newtown#connecticut, where 20 children and 6 adult staff members were shot and killed by a lone shooter, with an assault style weapon. It's also 6 years ago that #gainesville#virginia, #lowes Store Manager, Tony Reyna exploded in rage after I declined to sign a bogus performance review, stemming from a 8 Dec 2012 store opening shift, when my alarm code malfunctioned, causing opening procedure delays. It's also the day that an Assistant Store Manager, Josh Wilner had a scheduled delivery of a front load washer that he ILLEGALLY purchased, after soliciting a subordinate employee to reduce it in the system by $300+ dollars, and he purchased it for his personal use in his rental property. Tony Reyna told me to "GET OUT of my store" after I declined to sign the write-up, and departed the office to retrieve my coat & purse from the ASM Office. Tony Reyna & William Fenne followed me, trapping me in the office as Tony stood directly in the doorway, ignoring my "excuse me" request to pass him. Will Fenne stood directly behind him, perched against the wall in dead body silence, TAKING NOTES!! I literally had to squeeze pass Tony's near 250lb protruding girth, and immediately retrieved my phone from my purse to call #corporatelowes ER Compliance Manager, Tonya Morning. Tony had no ideal who I was calling. In a threatening manner, Tony stood beside me, shoulder to shoulder, and I immediately walked away, not wanting him to hear my conversation. He followed in pursuit, yelling, "GET OUT of my store," as I repeated his EXACT words to Tonya. At some point, Tony & William concocted a scheme & involve #princewilliamcounty Police, and have them waiting for me the following day, Saturday & Sunday. He was going to have me arrested, using the fear that #sandyhook created, to NOW say that I had left a threatening note saying, "fit to fight and I will kill," which didn't go as planned, because I

I'm so thankful that I didn't give up myself or my business this time last year. As you know, our stove had a gas leak which meant completely replacing it. It was completely unexpected and definitely not budgeted for especially during Christmas. Knowing that this week's paycheck would more than cover the cost to replace it was huge blessing. In the past, it would have devastated me. How would I be able to finish shopping for the boys and pay cash for a new stove? The answer, I wouldn't have. I would have had to put it on a credit card. - It's so easy to overlook the small things that having a side hustle can cover. After this week, I'm forever grateful that I took the chance on myself and my business!
@loweshomeimprovement is my new favorite home improvement store! In addition to their 10% discount, they offer front row parking for Veterans! I don’t expect anything for serving but these gestures are always appreciated! #usarmy#lowes#veteran#torrance
So this guy rolls up while I'm at lunch. I'm lucky enough to return before he leaves. He comes out the store, and I mentioned I'm glad I get to hear it start. HE THREW ME THEY KEYS YALL THIS DUDE WAS LIKE "START IT BRO" AND IM LIKE BRO But sadly, I was on the clock and in my Lowe's vest, so I couldn't do it :'( But GOD do I wish I could have >:( #subaru#wrx#awd#turbo#subie#work#lowes
This week a few little things have happened! -Our temporary propane tank was delivered and then filled. And then someone came and hooked up a couple small heaters in the basement and garage, apparently to keep the ground from freezing in preparation for the concrete to be poured! Yay! -Our local water department put in a new tap for us. -Electric Company called and scheduled our permanent electric service hook up! - Our construction manager said he was looking into our garage door. And he said he would be personally fixing/putting on our ledger board. -I think someone came to pre-measure for drywall dimensions. - We bought a dehumidifier for the garage today! Helpful hint: they said to make sure you get one that you can attach a hose to, so you can drain it 24/7, instead of having to empty the canister. At our local Lowe’s, they ran from $199-250. Plus you have to buy the hose separately. - In my sons excitement at the build yesterday, he was running around and wound up stabbing me in the eye ball with his tiny dirty little finger. 3 abrasions later, 2 antibiotics, a temporary contact lense, and a patch-I now look like a pirate! And I’ll tell you, that hurts!!! . . . . I’m crossing my fingers that maybe they have poured some concrete today! We shall see!! @waynehomes #buildingahouse#waynehomes#building#newbuild#modernfarmhouse#outonthefarm#housebuild#lowes#dehumidifer
