It’s World Earth Day which seems like a fitting time for an update on what we’ve been doing recently to do our little bit to protect our environment. - the first of our biodegradable branded tubs have been ordered. We’ve got some of the old ones to use up but all branded tubs we order from now on will be biodegradable. - our biodegradable spoons are now in use. - our milk shake cups, coffee cup lids and straws are all made from PLA (plants not plastic) and are 100% compostable. - we’re in the process of switching from plastic drinks bottles in our drinks fridges- we won’t be buying any more plastic bottles. - we buy our waffle cones from Antonelli, the only UK baker of waffle cones- fewer food miles and the ultimate recyclable packaging! We think these things matter and we’re trying to do our bit. We hope that many others follow suit 😄 #worldearthday2019#doingourbit#raysicecream#wiltshire#swindon#royalwoottonbassett#lovewhereyoulive#vegware#antonelli#supportlocal
One of our agents recently took a historic trolley tour of Asheville and loved it! Natives and new residents alike love these tours, thanks to the wealth of knowledge and fun tidbits offered by the guides. Both Asheville and Hendersonville offer historic trolley tours (AVL: Gray Line Tours; HEN: The Trolley Company). Have you taken one of these tours before?

When the planet is your home, Earth Day is every day. For the entire duration of our human existence, our physical bodies are permanently bound to this planet, Earth (unless you're an astronaut 👩🚀). We are completely connected and one with this living, energetic rock. There is no separation between us and Earth, and it's our responsibility to treat this integral part of our existence with much better care. This Earth keeps us alive, and in turn, we must keep it alive. I spent the afternoon doing some house cleaning in my neighborhood and the town of @malvernpa. I found rusty nails in the streets by construction sites, and more cigarette butts than I could possibly pickup in one day. It was also clear that people are still throwing trash out of car windows. There are a lot of dogs and children in this town, and we need to be more mindful and respectful of our shared outdoor spaces. It's all of our responsibility to keep our corner of the world clean and taken care of.
