It’s just oh so Gaudí and we’re in love. Made from solid cast brass, this is Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Calvet door handle. Casa Calvet is a building designed by Antoni Gaudí for textile manufacturer Pere Màrtir Calvet which served as both a commercial property (in the basement and on the ground floor) and a residence. It is located at Carrer de Casp 48, Eixample district of Barcelona and was built between 1898 and 1900. Although Casa Calvet is at the more conservative end of Gaudí’s oeuvre, this beautiful door handle really couldn’t be described as understated.
