Words can’t describe the excitement I have waking up knowing I’m about to get these gains. It’s starting to feel like that same aura when I was younger getting read to play any type of basketball. Yes it was fun, but I was training even way back then. ✅Finding this group fitness session helped me get out of a workout rut. Day 4 is all about fitness! I have to say I lost majority of my weight from spin class at the gym and then I took a break to find another passion in kickboxing. Recently i started spinning again and I truly missed it. I’m so happy that I get to take that ride!
So I haven’t really talked much about what was going on with my neck because honestly it was kind of embarrassing.. . After dealing with a back injury for over 6 months and finally starting to get over that, I had cyst pop up on the back of my neck . I haven’t been able to workout much for the past 2 weeks because of it but finally got it removed yesterday . At this point, it’s been almost 8 months since I’ve been at the top of my game and it really gets to me sometimes . Everything happens for a reason though so I know there is purpose to this and just like with anything in life, rough patches always have something great on the other end and I know it’s coming soon! . I think it’s all motivation to beat @nicole_f1t, @otg.preston, and @otg_lucas (featured in the background) in our competition . They may be getting a head start on me because of these issues but it doesn’t even matter. My routine for the week: Hot Chocolate w/ Benefits (recipe on https://thehypercarnivore.com blog), followed by 2 eggs and 1-2 pcs of bacon w/ goat cheese. Second meal has been cod baked w/ #kerrygoldbutter Today I had it w/ mozzarella on top. It’s so easy (a caveman could make it, ha ha). Seriously this has taken very little time to prepare. I did a video on Strong Spirit Woman YT channel showing how! No excuses not to cook and prepare your own food. After my fish I’ve enjoyed yogurt and even a half peeled honey crisp apple a couple days. If women trying to lose weight would eat this way, I bet they would find it 1)easy, 2)enjoyable 3)satisfying and 4)effective. What a woman needs to focus on will be different than a big guy lifting tons of weights! High protein flesh foods like fish satisfy brain and hormones for a low calorie delivery. Add enuf fat to feel satisfied. Even a little fruit or veg can be added if tolerated. Keep it simple. Make it enjoyable. Then it will be sustainable. High protein yet low total calories. That usually helps you feel more energized than over eating in my experience anyways. Learned a lot from my recent weeklong purge!
