Movement of Comet 46P/Wirtanen. On the night of 7th December (last Friday) I captured 18 short sub-exposures of periodic comet 46P/Wirtanen. Each sub-exposure was a mere 55 seconds with a 5 second delay between each sub. Shot with a Pentax K-5iis DSLR at 3200 ISO attached to a Skywatcher 190mm Maksutov-Newtonian at a focal length of 1000mm. Because the comet was moving across the sky so quickly, you can clearly see the movement between subs. I have repeated the sequence 3 times in this video to give you a chance to absorb it. 😅🔭
While some people might refer to it as the Budapest Eye, Sziget Eye, Sziget Eye Belváros, Budapest Ferris Wheel, or Budapest Óriáskereke, Whatever you call it you’re definitely not going to miss the 65 meter (214′) high observation wheel as it towers above the trees and buildings of Budapest.

... Image: 3/3 While in #hockinghills, you must visit the beautiful scenery of Old Man's Cave. I try to go at least once every season. • • Brief history - It derives its name from the hermit Richard Rowe who lived in the large recess cave of the gorge. His family moved to the Ohio River Valley around 1796 from the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee to establish a trading post. • • 📷 Sony Alpha A7riii #bealpha
