Throwback to this lil faSHUN statement switch from my green “grinch” style garm to the snazzy smurf sweg of this blue fluff ball coat- which I snaffled from @ohduckydarling after forgetting my own boho bespangled bomber & the fact that it’s actually a coat for cold conditions rather than just a jacketed connotation of Christmas, as well as my rather Britishly Briton tendency to talk Tosh & gadabout gassing & Good Gollying like your stereotypical old granny about it being Brass Monkeys weather outside & getting into one of those Cream-Krackered Kerfuffles about the AbsoBLOODYlootely NOT Bees Knees but Damp Squib situation, whilst seriously fancying a Nice Hot Cuppa (except I’m a cappo coffee over Earl Grey gal)🇬🇧 • • So after much drama llama language & effing & blinding in the absence of any “scuse my French”es beforehand, then comes creating my own carte blanche whilst waddling the walkways of London wearing this & looking like an Oompa Loompa, getting lost in lumps of Londoners & chasing Chelsea's colours all the way down to the pretty pink Albert Bridge- where I wasn’t as attractive in that I nearly got blown over the rails in an attempt to get one of those beaut billowing in the wind sassy hair flip photos amidst a fear that my frozen face would thaw & my snot nose would spatter as far as the cam face, & all for a magical in the moment kind of candid which I can’t seem to self master on any snap… And this was all footed on frozen feet with frostbitten toes, hot footing freeze framed thoughts about finding ways to eff the whole faSHUN & see the in de facto veracity that freezing my non existent teets off was much more relevant than the ruination of the @raggedpriest rebel look I was trying to rag trade...& also striving to establish an en route to any coffee shop shelter with a heater to hog after shivering down street after street & failing to forage any store selling a simple blanket which wouldn’t rebirth my

Love the Art Pavilion in Mile End, we’re so lucky to have this on our doorstep. It hosts a range of brilliant exhibitions, held in a great, airy gallery space with a glass front that overlooks this small lake where swans and other water birds live. It is used for a range of arts events and activities, exhibitions, workshops and even some weddings! It also provides opportunities for local artists to exhibit their work and perform. Roll on some more of these gorgeous sunny days, you’ll find me lounging on the lush green grass next to this lake!
It was a Greek-Cypriot feast cooked by @mariaelia9 and Elena Alexander for their supperclub residency at @thelondonfoodie HQ, I can still smell the wonderful cinnamon, fresh herbs and spices in my kitchen! . What I love most about Maria’s cooking is her lightness of touch, her well-judged seasoning and punchy flavours. Her Greek-Cypriot cooking is gutsy, and well textured, a real delight! . Think savoury baklava (my favourite), a wonderful layered pastry of broccoli, three types of cheeses (feta, ricotta and halloumi), almonds and mint! We also loved her cauliflower “meatballs” with raw cauliflower tabbouleh, and almond skordalia. Her cooking is different from anything I have experienced in Greece, out with the huge chunks of over-cooked meat, in with all the veggies, great textures, and colours, pls! . These were only two of the amazing 9-course/11-dish Greek-Cypriot menu by @Mariaelia9 at @thelondonfoodie supper club.
