This plant has so many names but the most common ones we’ve heard are Pilea Peperomioides and Chinese Money Plant. Nice to look at, easy to care for and quick to grow - it’s a total plant babe! We can’t wait for it to bear pups! This plant gets a lot of bright indirect light and watered once the soil is dried out. . . . . @houseplantclub @obsessifolia @houseplantlovers @houseplantinsider @houseplantopia @houseplantdiary @planterina @plantparentcommunity @crazyplantrichasians @houseplant.headquarters @houseplantplantclub @house_plant_community @greenhomemag @plantpeoplearemypeople

#abotanica
Happy father’s day to the most fiercely dedicated dad I know. He doesn’t like me to post pics of him (this might be the first one in my feed 🤔) but I thought he wouldn’t mind this one by 📸 @fotomo #whphfotomo#fathersday2019#familytime
Mystery Plant I got this plant in a trade with my friend's mom. She told me that it is a 'Coffee Plant'. I am assuming this term is being used like the term 'Jade Plant' where several different species are being coined by the same common name. I know this isn't a true coffee plant because those have a different appearance including a wooden trunk. The plant looks a bit like a Bird's Nest Sansevieria, but it is not that either. So my newest plant mission will be to Google until I figure out this plant's name. If by any chance someone out there knows the name of this plant please let me know. 🤔 🍃

Happy Sansevieria Sunday and a very Happy Father’s Day to all my fellow (plant) dads out there! Too nice to stay in my room all day taking plant selfies 😂 . 🌱 As usual, end up at my local plant shop! Thinking of adopting this beautiful croton! What do you guys think?
What is your earliest house plant memory? 🌱 When I was in elementary school, my mum gave me money to buy lunch snacks which I loved spending on plants at my favorite plant store on the way home. Usually it was enough to buy the cheapest kind - violets or asparagus fern. I don't know why, but I hated the violets so always ended up with pots of asparaguses. When there were too many asparagus ferns in our apartment, my mum gave them to me to take to school. Schools and teachers supported the indoor gardens, I liked looking after and watering the school plants. Once, a boy who was in love with me poured acetone into some of the plants and killed them. I can still feel the pain I felt back then, but I always smile at this memory
