The Knicks as a team shot 34% from 3 last season and finished 28th in the NBA😕Also as a team the Knicks averaged 10 three point makes per game ranking 25th in the league☹️ The FA signing of Reggie Bullock, Wayne Ellington, Bobby Portis, Marcus Moris, and Julius Randle should help the Knicks shooting as a team. These players shoot well from beyond the arch last season👏 The big question is who should be the starting point guard🤷♂️I think everyone would prefer a point guard that could shoot well but unfortunately all three guards aren’t the best at shooting😩 DSJ is an explosive player who’s young and has potential, Elfrid is a veteran, and Frank is a great defender who’ve we’ve seen lock up PG13 and other stars🙌The 3 PGs all bring something to the table but ultimately we neeeeeed a shooter. If DSJ can get a consistent jumper than that would be great but until then the question for who’s gonna be point guard can’t be answered... Comment who you think should start I’ve even heard things about RJ starting at PG so who knows what will happen 🔵⚪️🔶 #knicks#nyknicks#knickstape#knicksnation#nyk#newyork#elfridpayton#dennissmithjr#frankntilikina#rjbarrett#2020#freeagency#nbaplayoffs#knicksfans#knicksclique#blueandorange#msg#kevinknox#mitchellrobinson#basketball
The Spurs are pissed that Marcus Morris backed out of the deal to sign with the Knicks. The bad blood between the Knicks and Spurs goes back to talks over Kristaps Porzingis. There are people in the Knicks organization who feel some with the Spurs operated outside of accepted NBA norms at times when Kristaps Porzingis was a Knick. The Knicks talked to teams about trading Kristaps Porzingis prior to the 2017 NBA Draft. Some with the Knicks felt that the Spurs crossed lines of accepted behavior prior to the trade.
