Shelves are in! 3 at 20” x 12” and 3 at 34” x 12”, all solid oak finished with a walnut stain. We also helped to renovate this kitchen so it’s fun to see it all coming together! ✨ Shout out to @studiomoorwall on a job well done with install.👌🏼💪🏼
Brick by brick. My first post and my first #shelfie, to start building this feed, as we renovate our home, brick by brick, square by square. I guess I should say ‘hi’ as well! I’m Sophie, a food & prop stylist living in beautiful Derbyshire, (UK) with a house full of kids and a huge dog, trying to balance style, comfort and storage to give everyone what they need from our gorgeous Victorian gaff; and stay sane in the process! I hope that one day I can do some work through this feed and support a charity not set up yet but to do with supporting families and those affected by cleidocranial dysplasia. More on me another time, I hope you like my kitchen shelf set up! I didn’t want wall units in our kitchen as I couldn’t find any that felt modern enough - it’s just about survivable storage wise as we have a separate pantry and utility room, but you do probably need a lot of floor units to get away with it! Let me know what you think and please say hi so I can make some new interiors friends to follow 🥰 #storyofmyhome#kitchendesign#kitchendecor#kitchenshelves
Have you considered open shelving as an alternative to wall cabinets when planning your kitchen storage? Not only do they give you the opportunity to display your kitchen accessories and crockery, they can also give the illusion of more space and make a room feel brighter- perfect for those smaller footprints. #1909kitchens
