We have been supporting @libertyeventsllc Revolution Tournament for many years! This tournament is by far one of the best if not the BEST tournament in the Pacific Northwest. We are excited to continue to support and compete in it this weekend. Tomorrow, we will have our Imperial Jitz adults competing Saturday, and KIDS compete on Sunday. We are beyond excited for the opportunity finally be able to take a group of kids to the Revolution tournament. Thanks Jeff and Gina for everything you do for the Jiu-Jitsu community. These pictures are from when our adults competed in it years ago. TIME FLIES when you’re having fun 🤓. #therev#teamsiri#jiujitsu#kidsjiujitsu#healthy#competition#positivevibes#ladiesofimperialjitz#testyourknowledge#fun#goodtimes#flashbackfriday
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is not based on power or size. The martial art of Brazilian jiu jitsu was developed by individuals who were neither big nor strong that being said it has been refined to give the smaller weaker individual the skills and knowledge to address the bigger and more powerful adversary. BJJ allows one to learn how to apply techniques directly on other students and coaches. These differences make BJJ one of the most unique and the most effective martial arts for children and adults alike.
Had my first wrestling dual yesterday since I started in June. I didn't have anyone my size in the other team so i ended up wrestling with my teammates! I had a good experience and learned alot from them. One is twice my weight 😁 and the other has been wrestling for years 😁 Thanks to my teammates for making me work hard yesterday as I prepare for future tournaments 💪
