A couple of weeks ago my sister asked me if I wanted anything from in n out. I know damn well that I don’t like in n out but I said fuck it. Lemme try it again. I finished the burger but I still didn’t like it 😐

Here is another chart showing my weight loss progress for April and May. Each of these points is a daily weigh-in. Weigh-ins are done in a consistent manner. Each morning when I wake up after going to the washroom I record my weight. I consider this my raw weight. . What did I learn? First, not everyone is the same. What works for one does not always work for another, that being said this is what I found for me. . Carb loading does not work! 🍐🍊🍌 . Working out during a fast is better! 🏋🏼♂️🧘🏼♂️🏃🏽♂️ . Sometimes the scale does not always reflect fat loss! ⚖️ . In the month of May I increased my protein, caloric intake, weight lifting sessions. This resulted in some short term weight gain on the scale however just recently I lost a pant size and my pants keep falling off. 😂 . My new scale that measures body fat percentage arrives today. I did it! It FINALLY happened! Today when I stood on the scale it finally read 100lbs down from my heaviest weight! I did it! I LOST ONE HUNDRED POUNDS! I ain’t done yet. Some days it isn’t real to me but pictures help me to remember how far I’ve come. I’ve had so many challenges and stalls in my weight loss journey thus far but I have overcome so many of those obstacles & I’m proud. #repost @keto.conmigo --- Parmesan Crusted Chicken topped with Creamy Pink Sauce Ingredients 🍴 🥫Pink Sauce 2 TBSP Olive Oil 2 TBSP Butter 3 garlic cloves 2 cups spinach 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1/2 cup Rao’s Marinara One small onion 1/2 cup Grated or Shredded Parmesan 🍗Chicken 1/4 cup Almond Flour 1/4 Cup grated parmesan 1 Egg (add 1/2 tsp salt/pepper & 1tsp Italian seasoning) 3 chicken breasts Instructions- Cut chicken breast in half and pound to 1/2 inch thickness Mix almond flour/grated Parmesan in separate bowl Dredge chicken in egg/seasoning mixture and coat in “breading” mix Add olive oil to frying pan-Cook on medium-medium low till chicken is golden brown and cooked on both sides. For the Sauce: heat butter& olive oil on medium, add diced onions: cook till translucent. Add garlic, cook for 2 minutes then add HWC & whisk together Marinara until fully combined Whisk slowly till sauce thickens, lastly adding the spinach. Serve over breaded chicken, top with extra parmesan if desired! Goes well with any roasted veggie side of your choice. ---

On the left, it was Fourth of July at my parents pool. Normally, I would have felt really terrible about my size and being in a swimsuit at the pool, blah, blah - most of us have experienced that feeling. However, I had been doing keto for almost a month, and lost almost 15 lbs at this point. So, I asked my cousin Dana to take some “before pictures” for me.. I was confident that these photos could one day be compared to some photos like the one on the right. And before keto, I never would have believed it possible for myself. Yes, I would have dreamed or imagined it possible. But once I got into the groove with keto (after my initial transition), I knew I had found a path that was going to lead me to where I have been trying to go for throughout my entire life! Took the girls to the park/walk around the lake today. Had to get out of the house. Plum wore myself out but I’m feeling so much better! I am thinking tomorrow I should be back to 95% (still tired and a bit nauseated). It got hot fast so we didn’t last too long. Felt great to be outdoors and move my legs.
