Behold❣️ My so very artsy protein sandwiches😁👌🏼😋 This was my late Sunday breakfast. I actually love this “bread”😍 And I was so surprised when discovered it only a few weeks ago, having googled low carb recipes on the internet like a trillion times before!! Oh well, better late than never I guess😊 For making these I used 1 tbs of coconut oil (choose the kind of oil or fat that you prefer) 3 tbs of almond flour, 1/2 a tsp baking soda and 1 egg. You just mix all the ingredients in a small bowl and put it in the microwave for 90 seconds, and voilà!💁🏼♀️ So fast and easy, and so satisfying to be able to eat “bread” that is even soft and bread like even though your eating low carb😃 If my calculations are correct, then the bread itself should contain 335 calories and 12 grams of protein. And what I used as topping today was smoked turkey, 40 grams, so that is 40 calories and 8 grams of protein. On one of them I also actually had some slices of avocado underneath the turkey, but the poor thing was not at its best, I think I was only able to use like 1/4 of it and the rest I had to throw it away.. so that should be around 60 calories or so I think. Ham onion and mozzarella omelette with avocado and tomato This is perfect for brunch, tastes unreal, filled with healthy fats and super quick to make! Ingredients 2 eggs 1 slice ham (chopped) 1/2 onion (chopped) 1 handful mozzarella 1/2 avocado 1 tomato Method Gently fry the onion adding the ham then set aside when it’s done. In the same pan heat up some butter till it’s quite hot, whisk two eggs then add them in adding a lid to the pan. The eggs should be done fairly quick then you add a little bit of cheese to one half followed by the topping and some more cheese then fold the omelette the cook for 1 more minute. Serve with the chopped avocado and tomato adding extra virgin olive oil to the tomato and seasoning.
- KETO CHEESE TACO SHELLS 😋 Instructions 1. These are the instructions if you want to make taco shells for 1 serving. If you want to make a big batch of them, or for a large family, simply get another baking sheet and lots more cheese ready. As one batch is cooking and cooling, you can have the next batch in the oven. 2. Pre-heat the oven to 200C/400F and line a baking sheet with baking parchment or a silicon sheet. Something that will make it easy to slide the keto cheese taco shells off as they cool and harden. 3. Place the grated/shredded cheese into two large (or more, but smaller) circles on the baking sheet as shown. 4. Bake the cheese on the baking sheet in the preheated oven for up to 5 minutes. But watch them closely. You'll know when they are ready to remove from the oven when they have bubbled and cooked to a lovely golden brown colour. Do not overcook them. No one wants a burnt cheese taco shell. 5. Remove the baking tray for the oven and set aside to cool down slightly. At this point, you may wish to place another baking sheet with taco shells in the oven to be cooking. 6. Place two cups upside down on your kitchen bench. Place a kitchen wooden spoon between them as shown. Once the cheese taco shell is cold enough to touch and still pliable, place over the wooden spoon handle to cool. Alternatively, you can buy a metal taco rack as shown above. 7. Repeat the process until you have made enough keto cheese taco shells for your family. 8.
