Fructose is rapidly metabolized in the form of fat, much faster and more direct than glucose, often promoting the storage of fat, particularly in the abdominal region. 💥💥 In excess, fructose can alter the electrolyte balance in your body, overloading the kidneys - a major problem for anyone who already has a kidney problem. ————————————————————————💥Those who have intestinal and stomach problems should also pay attention to the amount of fruit they eat. Excess fructose is turned into fat by the liver. With excess, this fat is not eliminated from the body properly, and can end up clogging the arteries and causing heart problems. Back at it yall! Let me tell you, this has been a journey. I ceased keto for about 6 months due to my skin... I had lost so much so fast, I decided to let my body recognize and deal with the shock of 80lb weightloss and let my skin tighten up. Thankfully, I did not gain any weight back! (Which is what everyone says when you stop keto- you gain it back and them some... nope) I stuck to a low carb life (most the time), did a lot of fasting and kept my portions in control, however I really started to notice inflammation, sluggishness and pain were creeping back in to my life. I have been working up to daily 18 hour fasts now for about 4 months. I eat once day, and mostly only dinner. I've also been hitting the gym 4 nights a week, doing mostly cardio, stamina, endurance training. I'm going to start implementing real weight here soon. I just want to get a good feel for moving again. I've also got some training sessions on the books, to see where I'm at, and how I will get to where I want to be. I'm excited for the second part of my journey. I only want to lose maybe another 20 lbs... but mostly now it's about getting in shape, getting strong and getting healthy! 30 is coming up, and I've heard it's all downhill from there. Haha Might as well start off as high as I can get! The last 9 months have been crazy town. Unfortunately I fell off the Keto bandwagon, but I celebrated my 21st birthday, finally did my RAI treatment, got a cancer free body scan result, pulled off the conducting recital of my dreams, graduated from USC with my bachelors degree in Choral Music, and recently celebrated the one year anniversary of my first thyroid lobectomy! What a freaking whirlwind! • I’m excited to say that I’m starting Keto again tomorrow and am kicking it off with the @justpruvit 60 hour reboot. This worked really well for me last time I started Keto so I’m doing it again, but I definitely don’t use exogenous ketones or MLM products in my normal routine. I’ve also been working on a new extended fast/reboot to help avoid Keto flu that’s more simple, accessible, and easier on the wallet! Dudes, I was tired AF, but still made it to @planetfitness to do my PT exercises! This was earlier today!✌️👍👏 . Back pain is worse if I lay down all day and do nothing so I need to force myself to move despite my pain. I always remember that there are people at the gym that enter through those doors in wheel chairs and other people have other visible disabilities. So really what valid excuse do I have?

My Loco Moco dish was so ono or #delicious This is a local favorite from Hawaii I did put my own flavor into it and just substituting the regular white rice with my freshly made cauliflower rice cut the carbs down, down and down! . Sheri’s Loco moco 1 beef patty cooked 5 slices of Reydondos Portuguese sausage chopped 1/2 cup sliced sweet onions 2 eggs 2 tbsp white truffle oil 1 tbsp butter 1 gravy beef or turkey (I used turkey) 1 cup of cauli rice (freshly made is best) Salt and pepper to taste Sprinkle of Salmon Furikake Optional Chopped cilantro, dash of tanJin seasoning to bring a pop of color to final plated Loco moco!👍 . Cook beef patty set aside. In beef drippings cook sliced onions and chopped Portuguese Sausage until browned transfer onions and Portuguese sausage to small bowl. With the left over drippings in a pan make your gravy! Drop powdered gravy mix and add 1/2 cup of water cook until gravy has a nice gravy texture and set aside. . Scramble one egg in butter in a small pan and add cauli rice make sure to salt and pepper your caulirice till you got it to your liking and set aside. . Fry your egg how ever you like. I fried mine in white truffle oil it added that depth of flavor or umami it was so good! . To assemble Loco moco place bed of cauli rice on your plate. * *tip for best plated pic use white dishes!✌️👍* Sprinkle Salmon furikaki . Place beef patty on caulirice. Fill a ladle with your gravy and pour over beef patty and caulirice. Sprinkle sausage and onion mixture over gravied patty. Place fried egg on patty. Sprinkle a dash of the tan Jin seasoning for a bit of color and lime flavor. Sprinkle chopped cilantro and enjoy!!!!!
